Can this cabinet be strapped to a wall for added safety (children, earthquake, etc.)? If so, is there a specific strap that is to be used or any of the straps that are available for purchase?

Answer:
Well Keter may not sell straps designed specifically to attach this to a wall, but with some ingenuity you could attach Earthquake straps that are sold at The Home Depot.

Answer:
I don't see why not. I had mine sitting in the garage for a week with no shelves installed (and nothing inside). If you're going to put something heavy in there, I'd secure it to the wall just to be safe.

Well, sort of. The shelving does not appear to be necessay for stability, however they do provide a solid stopping point for the doors so they don't push into the cabinet when you close them. If you can spare an inch or so of vertical room, this issue is very easily resolved by putting one shelf on the floor of the cabinet. This seems to add strength to the cabinet floor anyway. We have done this with 2 of our cabinets because we wanted to use them as broom and rake storage. Works perfectly. If you need every inch of vertical space, then I suppose you could create your own stopper with a few screws at the bottom/top or something similar. Would not be hard to do. Read Less

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 84 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great utility cabinet Very happy with these cabinets. Purchased two. They are sturdy and sound. Doors open and shut smoothly. The shelves are adjustable and withstand a fair amount of weight. They are great looking and have made our garage appear tidy and neat. Take your time assembling them to make sure you get it right. I would purchase them again for sure. August 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heavy duty cabinet I work alot in my garage, building furnitures and repairing things. i needed a storage for all my tools. looked at the reviews at the beginning i had some concerns, but after buying this one, i can say, it is the best purchase i had for my storage. many real heavy duty abilities. very much value for your money. it can load 100lb per shelf, and bottom can hold much more. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good as I had hoped for The instructions were very poor. About 2 days after assembling, the left door started hanging on the bottom when I tried to close it. I adjusted the left front adjustment screw to try and fix, but it is doing it again a few days later. I don't know if that plastic adjustment screw is stripped or why this is happening, but I will have to try shimming the left front corner to get it to where the left door will close. Also, the plastic part on the left door where you are supposed to be able to put a Lock, was broken upon arrival. The locking tab is so flimsy that it would not be any deterrent at all, so anyone really wanting to lock the doors would probably want to buy a steel lock assembly. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected It went together pretty easily. The diagrams are pretty simple to follow. A few snags with plastic parts locking together, but not horrible. Pretty sturdy when filled with stuff. When not, easy to move around. I put it in a damp environment, so it being plastic is an asset. Overall, for the price, a good garage utility cabinet. Don't really need the handles if you want to save room. July 6, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed very much Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT order this product. It's has really poor quality and we received it with broken part. Planing to return it but taking it back a part, is a pain. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the price Very durable product - a little time to assemble but well worth it. Solid shelves and weight capability. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best purchase for the Garage I bought this cabinet after 10 years with metal in my garage. I can't believe what a change it made. It is more durable, won’t rust, and can load as much as I need. Well done Ketler. I intend to buy another one to fit the first one. Can I buy shelves only? I need an extra one. June 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed Not very impressed… Did not go together very well at all. Cheap quality for the price. June 24, 2016
