Can the window be on the other side of the shed

Yes. Can't go in front or back, but it can go on either side.

What exactly does a "fixed window" mean?

Does fixed window mean I can't open or shut?
Asked by: Casey
The window is horrible. There is a rectangle cut out of the resin wall and you screw in the window/frame. The window, itself, is a very flimsy plastic and it is not rain/weather proof. Yes, it leaks...a lot. I had to apply calking to the entire perimeter of the window to seal it.

The sales ad says 6x8 which would mean 6 ft wide and 8 ft deep

However the description says its 8 ft wide and 6 ft deep. Why????? I am very limited on the space I can install the shed on my property. It's imperative the measurement is accurate Let me know. Thank you
Asked by: Pops

Asked by: Richard
absolutelyy need a platform, wood or concrete. I used concrete blocks. assembly is somewhat difficult. note this thing is very weak. floors and walls. and very expensive for what you get. I would return it, if I hadn't already assembled it.

Manor 6 ft. x 8 ft. Outdoor Storage Shed is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 28.

I had assembled it by myself (it is suggested in instruction for two people) in 4 hours. The construction is light, durable and manufactured perfect for the purpose. Solid value for your buck. I had researched different options for my storage solution and this one was perfect combination of design, size and durability for the price.

I expect it would puncture easily, so I'm planning on putting some plywood on the floor to prevent damage from sharp dropped tools, though it did accommodate me and my stepladder just fine when I was attaching the roof. Assembly is pretty easy PROVIDED YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. I learned the hard way that if you're a little careless with some measurements, it can make attaching the roof a real trial. I was able to erect all four walls all by myself in about three hours, including probably about an hour spent trekking back and forth from the back yard to the garage where I'd had the box delivered, to get parts. I couldn't get the roof up by myself, but my wife and I were able to do it. But because I'd misaligned a couple of parts by a matter of maybe half an inch, setting the roof down properly so it could be screwed in place was almost impossible. I finally had to trim a little bit of plastic to allow the roof to seat properly. Getting the roof attached took almost another three hours, including about 45 minutes of cursing. After that, the doors and window went up easily. The instructions are IKEA-like - mostly very detailed diagrams, with minimal text where required. It's important to read and follow the instructions; I recommend dry-fitting them as much as possible before screwing them together. All the pieces either have the part code stamped into the plastic (can be a little difficult to find, but they're there) or affixed with a glued-on label. Two pieces were also stamped "Made in Israel," which kinda surprised me, especially since about the ONLY language the instructions didn't use was Hebrew. The roof issue aside (which was my own stupid fault) , all the parts fit together very well, and there was enough hardware to complete the job. Structurally, this is not a product that's going to survive going into battle with Russian tanks, and I'd strongly recommend screwing it down to a foundation if it's in a location that ever experiences high winds. But as a light-duty garden shed for storing your push mower and tools, it should be fine.

I'm VERY unhappy & dissatisfied with this shed. - There were NOT enough fasteners/screws 'per the instructions'. I had to scrounge & go to the hardware store to get enough screws to finish the job PER THE INSTRUCTIONS. There SHOULD be AT LEAST a few more of EACH size fastener in each bag. - The doors are TOO small and/or the opening is designed TOO large, width-wise, thus they don't close properly. - It's a VERY poor decision to make the 'roof BLACK'. Why???? It absorbs all the heat it can get !! I AM a Mechanical Design Engineer. I design tooling, fixtures & structures also similar to this every day. I design things in the 'eyes & position of the user'.

It was way less than 6' wide. The item I bought this shed for is 7'3" long. I have since returning this, built my own shed, 8' x 6' . One other thing the directions for this shed were very confusing. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I couldn't even bring myself to give this shed a rating of a 1 star, but was forced to give it something. In all honesty, I believe a Styrofoam cooler is better designed and sturdier. Even a piece of cardboard would be better. Please don't waste your time nor money on this product. It took three of us trying to put it together. We had a slight wind and the pieces would fly into the neighbors yard. Yes, fly with just a slight wind. I was forced to take it back and my Home Depot was awesome. They looked at it and immediately felt sorry for us. I am purchasing a slightly more expensive better quality shed instead.

But this is the cheapest, lightly constructed shed I have ever seen. If I hadn't already put it together. I would take it back. The walls are thin and very flexible. you cannot screw anything to the walls to hang stuff up cause the screws won't hold and the walls are so thin, the screws would go through the side. the floor is soft and weak. I'm thinking about lining all the walls in wood to help strengthen it. The construction is very light, the screws strip out very easy. I would suggest a wood or aluminum shed.

Thin-Thin plastic type material (designed somewhat like a cardboard box). It's easy to puncture, bend and damage. I'm amazed some of the screws even held in place. My Mom wanted this cause of the color, but had we known.... we would not have purchased this. Even backyard outdoor kids houses are built better than this. I would not waste your $$ money on this. I can see why it is not on display in the store, cause you would say "What a piece of junk".
