Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It's Average I bought this machine for its simplicity. I don't much care for the brewers with more buttons than I know what to do with. After a year of owning this brewer, making one cup of coffee per day, it is having issues. It won't heat the water and the machine alerts to needing more water when it is full. I have to unplug the machine to reset it. I'm not sure how much longer it is going to last so I am in the market for a new brewer. Other than these two issues, the brewer does as it should. I don't mind the limited cup sizes as I only drink one small cup daily. It is noisy, but it's only noisy for 30 seconds, certainly not a deal breaker. It's a great machine, when it works. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by SO FAR SO GOOD I recently purchased a Keurig unit to supplement a competitor's one-cupper. Although it is a bit noisier, and takes a bit longer to warm up, the quality seems superior, pours in one nice stream, and it takes no time at all to prepare the beverage. As well, the KCups just have to be dropped into the carrier, whereas the other unit must have their cassettes placed in the machine with little margin of error, or else the drink will have to be prepared manually (sometimes leaving a mess of grounds to clean up) or end up in the trash - $$$ gone. I also noticed the water temperature was comfortably warmer on the Keurig. August 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by k cup coffee maker it makes really good coffee and has a lot of different types and brands of coffee you can make in it, I have haven't found any coffee yet that did not taste good, they all taste good. There is so many different types and brands that you take a long time to try them all. With this coffee maker you don't have to go to a coffee shop or restaurant to have a great cup of coffee,it is kind of expensive but worth it if you only need 1 cup of coffee. September 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by K45 ISSUES In 4 days we've had 2 new K45s fail the same way. They both made a few cups of coffee then started recycling water to the holding tank during an entire brew cycle. Once complete there would be a loud puffing sound and the large cup brew light would stay on. Love the Coffee and the older machines. Quality has gone way down. I would not recommend a Keurig brand brewer until they get a handle on the quality. September 18, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Problems-Problems Purchased first unit in Feb 2014 i am now on the fourth coffee maker all were replaced under warranty this is the last try to get a good one lie the concept but not the results,as a retired engineer i believe their R&D team needs to re-evauate their product and make changes so people will give these units better ratings and tell others it is worth the price. But at present it is not worth the value asked because of very poor engineering. And i used filtered water so unit would not be contaminated. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I like the K45, but would it is noisey! I make at least 2 to 6 cups daily. It is nice when you have company and each wants different flavor of coffee. The one and most thing I don't like is it is too noisy..I was surprise that it is noisy. I would purchase another or different one if it they weren't so expensive and I knew it would not be so noisy. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ok for a while Our Keurig was good at first, we made perhaps 300 cups of coffee it it. But since we did not use it everyday, only once in a while, it did not last long. The heating element broke. It does not make sense to have it serviced since is would probably cost about what a new one would cost. But we feel it should have lasted longer. We do not drink coffee often enough justify the expense of a new Keurig, so our Keurig days are over. August 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Best Coffee Maker I've owned The Keurig K45 is easy to set-up and use, fast, and the K-Cups give my wife and I a choice of many different coffees. Only con; It only has a choice of three cup sizes. The hot chocolate and teas are grewat too. September 18, 2014
