Answer:
It has a handle that is easy to use; however, you cannot rest it on the ground because the bottom is not level. It is no worse to carry to a drain than other dehumidifiers I have used, but that doesn't say a lot.
It takes a little force to replace it - doesn't just slide back in.

Answer:
Very easy, the bottom third just slides out to empty and just slides back in and machine comes back on, to the settings you made! You can empty when every you want because machine goes to stand-by mode when Bucket is full, waiting to be emptied!

What is this rating? The bucket should hold 50 pints, right?

Or I'm I looking at that rating wrong.

I had the same question. If the bucket capacity is 1.3 pints it is too small. The GE 50 pint model has a bucket capacity of 17.5 pints (about 6 gal). Maybe it is 1.3 gallons and not pints, but even then it is too small storage and you would be frequently emptying the bucket when humidity is high or in large rooms.

Answer:
Holds more than 1.3 pints (I dump at least 8 pints ever 12 hours in a room 18x24)! Everything is auto and if you don't manually dump you can install garden hose and machine will dump for you! Bucket holds a least one (1) gallon of water and I dump 2 times ever 24 hours. I live in the south.

Yes!, hose comes out back. My opening is about 2 inches from bottom. The instruction book shows the opening higher up? I really like my unit!

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 72 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by New dehumidifier The dehumidifier arrived at my home quickly. I was disappointed that the unit fan runs continuously - that was not mentioned in the original write up. I have the unit mounted so that it drains into a set tub in the basement. This means that I have to get up on stool to read the LED display. A front display would have been more convenient. It appears to be doing the job and holding at the level of humidity. Now it remains to be seen how reliable it will be in future years. None of the ones I researched appear to do very well on that score. June 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Keystone Dehumidifier Good but very noisy, but Consumer Reports say they all are. Water tray a little tricky to get in and out but once you know how to do it, it is good. LED display is great. July 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Could not get continuous drain to work If you don't mind emptying the bucket, this dehumidifier is a great value. It seemed to work fine. However, I could never get it to work properly with the hose attachment. Some water would go out the drain to the hose, but water also continued to go into the bucket. so that it still had to be emptied daily. There was a lot of condensation on the top of the bucket enclosure. Maybe that is normal if you are using the bucket. The connection to the hose was difficult to get tight. A lot of the water going to the hose was leaking onto the floor. I added plumber's tape and purchased a new hose and that seemed to help that problem. (The old hose had been working fine with my old dehumidifier.) I removed the bucket and the hose and forced the humidifier to run by pressing the bucket switch inside the enclosure. Under those conditions, the dehumidifier seemed to run fine, sending water out the tube. Once I replace the bucket and attached the hose, it no longer worked properly. I keep thinking I'm doing something wrong, but I'm tired of troubleshooting it. I am returning this to the store. July 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dehumidifier This dehumidifier has proven to be a good purchase ! July 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product. Good price Dehumidifier looks great. Quiet. Does the job. Have split entry townhouse. Kitchen and family room are below ground level with lookout windows. Getting ready to hook up hose for continual drain. Would buy it again. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by replacement dehumidifier Replaced an LG unit, that didn't last very long. This one isn't as noisy, controls are simple and seems to be doing a great job. July 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good dehumidifier This unit will get a 5 star if not for the way the bucket was designed. It is unsteady and does not slide in easily. The upper right corner seems too tight and the bucket have to be given a tab to be put back correctly. Other than that, this is an excellent dehumidifier that runs a lot quieter than many other brands. June 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Product Bought On-Line Shoddy workmanship. Broken part in water bucket. Water bucket side didn't line up with main unit. One side was not tight compared to opposite side. Returned this item to store today (- June 14. 2016) and store couldn't refund me because of a system wide computer problem. Employees very nice and professional. June 14, 2016
