Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HuweyII Simply the best smoke detector made right now. Voice announcments are clear and loud. The wireless features make it so that when one goes off they all go off. And they use AA batteries. Most people have some AA batteries around, so when it needs batteries you're more likely to install them. Also since they're wireless you can put them in your shed, garage or RV parked next to the house and you'll know if something is going on out there. Plus you can use lithium batteries so even if the unit in the garage or shed gets really cold it will still work.

I had to buy this because my City code requires new/remodeled homes to have interconnected alarms. It was installed by by contractor therefore I don't know how easy it was. I burnt toast and all the alarms went off. A bit loud for my small home.

Easy to set up 5 units throughout the house. Good option if you need interconnecting alarms and don’t want to hardwire them.

I purchased 4 of these for my daughter and son-in-law, who had purchased a new home. My son-in-law reported these were easy to install and synched up immediately. If you can use at least 3, these come in 3 packs, as well as singles. The 3 pack is discounted beyond the per each price.

I installed 2 of these alarms in my home. 1 in each of my kids bedrooms.
before you start you need to pair any alarms before you install them. This is just so if 1 alarm goes off, they all go off.
you just set the code pad found in the battery compartment and then they are set and ready to use. these also have voice notifications as well.
to install you just need to insert a single drywall screw for the mount and just twist the alarm into place. quick and easy. these have been in place for over a month and I have not had to replace the batteries. requires 3 AA batteries which are included.
