Answer:
Hello James. This extinguisher is smaller and more easily stored in a car. It also has the B:C rated powder which is less likely to fuse to hot metal and damage a car engine. However, the 2lb UL rated 1:A 10:B C extinguisher would have more extinguishing agent and would put out paper and trash fires as well as electrical and liquid fuel fires. Answer:
Hello Randy. This extinguisher is rated to be stored between -40 degrees to +120 degrees. If it is going to get hotter than 120 degrees in your car, we would strongly recommend not storing the extinguisher in the car when you are not in it running the AC.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by compact Nice extinguisher for the money. Suppose to last 6 years. Will work well in my garage. Not refillable but I wouldn't know where to get it filled anyway. August 2, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not easy to mount The one thing that I would love to see is a fire extinguisher for a car that actually fits in a car without twenty changes to both the car and the mounting bracket March 8, 2016
