Hello TrueHeart. “Multi-use” or “multi-purpose” would refer to the class of fires that a FX is used on. ABC works on most common class. A class fires are paper, wood, and trash fires, B class fires are liquid fuel fires like grease, oil, and gasoline, and C class fires are electrical fires. This does not reflect if the canister is disposable or rechargeable. This unit(Full Home 21007245N) is single Read More

Answer:
I purchased this extinguisher in the store on 2016-06-04. It came with a metal wall hanger. See attached drawing. The hanger's design seems to be a compromise between holding the extinguisher securely as possible and allowing it to be removed quickly.
The extinguisher is quite heavy - about 8 lb - so I mounted the hanger to a wall stud using two #10 screws.

If you want to call it a bracket! If you have small children or pets I would reccomend buying a real approved bracket to avoid a serious accident!

Answer:
Hello Letty. As long as the extinguisher is kept between -40 degrees and +120 degrees Fahrenheit, the extinguisher should be fine there. However, you do want to make sure you have an extinguisher indoors at least one per floor.

Hi Letty,
I would store the unit indoors, this makes it available for use inside if necessary, and use it outside when using Bar-B-Que.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor mount The extinguisher seems fine but the mount is a small plastic bracket that hold the extinguisher on a tiny lip around the valve. Any time you bump it it will slip out and fall off. Only buy if you plan not to hang it from the wall. September 21, 2015
