I live in a mobile home with a front porch area and rear ramp area. Any suggestions for an excellent place to mount this lock box?

Answer:
I have mounted my key box away from the front door......i.e. close to the rear door so nobody can easily see that a key is available to open the front door. If I need the key or I need someone to enter my unit then they will be told where to find the key (and told about the combination code).
I also mounted my key safe on a cement wall......it makes it much harder to remove (or robe).

Answer:
I would mount it on the less visible side of the ramp near the door, about 1 meter above the ground. Be careful to seal the holes to prevent leaks of the mobile home.

Answer:
This is NOT a secure box. It can take one to ten digit combinations. But they are not unique. If your combination is 2468, any other arrangements of those digits will open it. For example, 8642, 2486, 2648, 6842, etc. will open it. You can select the numbers, but --any-- sequence will open with those numbers.

Answer:
Hi craig - thank you for your question. Your combination can range from 4 - 10 numbers. However, reusing numbers does not make the code more difficult (e.g. 7787 is the same as 78 or 87).

Hello Sylvia. No, this keysafe is very secure. If you have the mechanism off of the box and can get to the back. Under the tool is 10 screw slots and a sticker with two arrowheads, one pointed one way and marked on and one pointed the other way and marked off. . Look at each of the screw in bright light and with a magnifying glass. You will see an arrowhead on each of the 10 screw slots in raised grey plastic. Turn the arrowheads on all of the numbers that you want to be part of the code towards on. Make sure that all of the other arrowheads are turned 180 degrees towards off. But if you can't get the mechanism off because the keysafe is locked, there is no way to open the keysafe other than getting a locksmith to break it open for you. Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product and peace of mind. I had this product before. It was inadvertently broken by a friend trying to help me while I was out of town. I have given the code to my local Emergency Service department. My Aunt had health issues, and when she pressed her Lifeline alarm system, the EMT's could access her home without breaking in. I highly recommend this item. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly fit my need Secured entry into Florida home for air conditioner and pest control services when residing in Massachusetts. Eliminates giving contractors a key, easy to change combination when and if we change contractors. Perfect for our needs. June 24, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Slimline Pushbutton Lockbox 2-Key Safe Ordering on-line with in-store pickup was super easy! The product is worth having--prevents kids from being "locked out." Should have ordered this product a couple years ago! February 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Best looking, worst function I loved the way this lockbox looked; the color was exactly as indicated. However, it was VERY difficult to set and we worried that the pins wouldn't stay in place. They didn't, and now we can't open it. It will cost me a fortune to have a carpenter rip it off the wall, repair the outside wall, re-paint, etc. I think Home Depot should NOT carry this really defective product. September 16, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT secure safe box. Even though you can set your combination, any order will open it. Example: if you choose 246; the following open it: 642, 264, 426, etc. This is NOT secure. Even though they claim over 1000 combinations, because of this design feature (read that as a flaw) where you can only set the numbers, not the sequence the numbers need to be punched, there are many fewer options. The product was sent with 4 screws, but only needs three. Mollys were missing. The craftsmanship appears to be robust. I am returning this product. January 3, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by easy come and go the installation, set up and use of the product has made our day to day life easier. We walk a lot and prefer not to carry a key when walking. We can lock up and get back into our condo with no problems. November 2, 2014
