Hi Gloria. I really don't know the specs on the Kidde PE120. If this is a hard wired unit it should be no problem, but....
I suggest you try calling Kidde directly or search their website. I myself found that very helpful.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck with your search. Mike

After I left the Apartment, the tenant stated it was chirping. when I went back to look, the green light was blinking and it would chirp every 5 minutes or so. when I would unplug and clean the smoke alarm and reinstall it, the other alarm would begin blinking and chirping. Short of replacing them, what can I do?

Hello AJ. Yes. All Kidde hard wired products use the same plug. Different models have different brackets but that just takes a screwdriver to change out. We are Kidde Product Support at 1-800-880-6788

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the best purchases I could make I had these installed by an electrician because I'm not comfortable changing things on the ceiling. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WORRY FREE 120-VOLT HARDWIRED INTER CONNECTABLE SMOKE ALARM WITH 10-YEAR BATTERY BACKUP The title sums it up nicely: a hardwired smoke alarm with a 10 year battery backup. It's an easy install; with three wires, it's like wiring a light fixture. No chirping for new batteries while you're asleep or away from the house. PS-Don't forget-these have a 10 year life span, so don't forget to change them accordingly. I can't attest to the longevity, so ask me in 5-10 years. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product Needed interconnect alarms to replace the originals. We interconnected several of this model with a Smoke & carbon monoxide alarm (Model i12010SCO ) for whole house coverage. The lithium battery will eliminate the need to change the batteries every 6 months. Someone's product review complained the "on" light was so bright as to keep one awake -- A star in the sky is brighter - we have to look to see that the small green light is on. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good safety item They were easy to install as replacement for the existing alarms. When one sounds so do the others. Wake everyone in the house. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Alarms Smoke we really like it, very easy to install. we replace 11 smoke alarm in our house. May 25, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Questionable batterys In March of 2016 I installed 5 of these in my home all dated October 2015. During the install and after a few minutes, 3 of the five were giving the green flashing light and a chirp every minute indicating a low battery condition. How does the manufacturer expect to get 10 years out of these when three of mine only went 5 months? March 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Install Replaced 5 detectors that had reached end of life. Took less than an hour without any problems. January 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product My daughter was getting nuisance alarms in the middle of the night. Every night! They would remove several of the alarms and go back to bed. As a former firefighter, I couldn't have that risk. The old system was over twenty years old, so I replaced all of the devices (very easy). Now, not only can she and her family sleep at night, but so can I. December 29, 2015
