Customer Reviews

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by made them work the pine looked good and took and oil finish nicely. the tracks came damaged but hd got the company to send replacements quickly. one of the plastic sliders for the track was defective and again, hd got the company to send a replacement right away. some of the hinges were improperly installed so I had to straighten the metal and tighten the screws. there was some warp on one of the doors making it so the bottom corner stuck out and the door didn't stay closed; added a magnet latch to the bottom to solve that issue. now that they're up and adjusted, they look quite nice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by quality product All of the hardware is supplied and installation is very easy. August 26, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Quality Control I ordered two (2) to install in a double opening arrangement. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. The "Cons" heavily outnumber the "Pros." Cons: One "top-track" was bent (not due to shipping) it was placed in the package bent and with paint coming off exposing the bare metal beneath. One of the two plastic pivot pins that go in the top of the door was shorter than the others and showed evidence of melting (again, not a "damaged in shipping" issue. One of the plastic sleeves that hold the knurled hinge pin was so poorly threaded that I had to use two sets of pliers to get it to work. I had to thread the knurled hinge pin from the backside to make the threads work well enough to re install the knurled hinge pin from the correct side. It still is extreemly tight and will not allow for height adjustment, like the picture and directions show in the instructions that come with the doors. One of the pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the door where the knurled hinge pin and sleeve goes in was pre-drilled too large so the entire sleeve and knurled hinge pin rotate, not allowing for the adjustment mentioned above. Because of this the doors have to be comploetely removed to adjust the height. And, as mentioned above, two sets of pliers are required to adjust the knurled hinge pin in the sleeve....then have to reinstall the sleeve and reinstall the doors to check for correct adjustment. Repeating as many times as necessary (removing the entire door set as described here) rather than a simple twist of the knurled hinge pin as the instructions clearly show and read. One of the doors won't shut flat. It stays buckled open just a bit. This is a hinge (metal) and or "stile" (as in stile and rail) problem. Pros: The woodwork is flawless other than a possibly incorrectly cut stile or hinge mortise. I am extreemly disappointed with these doors. I saved my money and did not buy the least expensive doors I could find. I purchased these based on "Customer Reviews." Obviously, Frameport's Plantation Bi-fold Closet Door QUALITY CONTROL AND ASSEMBLY PARTS IS/ARE BELOW ACCEPTABLE, and has become just shy of nonexistant after the good reviews by previous purchasers. I would have given 5-Stars for "Appearance" had the top track not been bent with paint coming off and the bare metal being exposed as a result of the damaged track. The woodwork "Appearance" is flawless I hope you and Frameport find this honest review helpful in selecting doors. Sincerely, Randall Williams March 30, 2014
