Answer:
Yes, the knob can be installed on either side - just make certain the track is set up for how you want it. I also replaced the wooden knob with one that matches my other hardware, not because the wooden knob isn't OK, but because I wanted it to match the other cabinets.

I have an opening that is 59" net. Since the doors are 29 11/16 net, can I put the doors on a table saw and trim 5/16 from the middle side (hinge side)? Would I need to trim more for my net width to work?

Answer:
Yes, they are about that. You'd have to unhinge them though, as they are joined together, and get hardware to mount them on the wall. We have a bathroom door with one of these in them and they fit nicely.

Hello Anonymous,
If you cut an 1" off the bottom you will void any warranty.
You would also have to drill a hole in the bottom for the pivot hardware.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 22 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by made them work the pine looked good and took and oil finish nicely. the tracks came damaged but hd got the company to send replacements quickly. one of the plastic sliders for the track was defective and again, hd got the company to send a replacement right away. some of the hinges were improperly installed so I had to straighten the metal and tighten the screws. there was some warp on one of the doors making it so the bottom corner stuck out and the door didn't stay closed; added a magnet latch to the bottom to solve that issue. now that they're up and adjusted, they look quite nice. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First purchase online, it's perfect. Door looks great, good quality. Was delivered to my home sooner than expected. I would definitely recommend buying this door if you need a 32 inch which I could not find any home improvement store that carried this size. Very pleased with appearance and fast service and free delivery. Thanks HomeDepot! March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice door for the dollar I ordered this on line and it arrived quickly and in a very well thought out package. Absolutely no damage. I elected to finish this with satin poly urethane and aside from that process being time consuming, it was well worth the effort. The finished door looks great. My only complaint is that the track bracket that the stationary side of the door engages has a funny tab built in to it that prevents the door from folding completely flat when fully open. If you have never finished a louvered door, keep in mind that it is time consuming as the raw wood will soak up the first coat of paint or varnish and will raise the grain. It will need to be sanded smooth between coats if you want to end up with a smooth finish. You must also be careful not to cause drips on the opposite side you are working on. Not for the painting impaired! Worth the effort, but be patient. December 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by louvered closet doors Purchased the door to close in my furnace room. As it holds the furnace and hot water tanks, I needed a louvered door for ventilation. No only does it look good and vents well, it made the house noticeably quieter when these appliances are running. December 31, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleased with purchase Doors were installed by Home Depot and are easy to operate October 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Only one around This size and style of closet door was the only one I could find, whether online or locally. That is the only reason I give it three stars. For $114.00 you would think you'd be getting a quailty door. Not so. It isn't any better than the $40 ones. (Though not available in this size/style.) The door arrived in a destroyed package, with a bent track. I called Home Depot & explained the issue. They were very nice & I thought it would be handled immediately. Not so again. Two weeks later I received an email explaining that the manufacturer said that part was not available and I could return the door if necessary!!! How long do they think people want to wait to install their door anyway? What makes them think I have a way to haul the door to the store or to repackage the thing!? Absolutely horrible customer service, especially on the part of the manufacturer! I kept the door, bent the track as best we could, and installed it. I can't believe I had to pay so much for a cheaply made, skinny closet door with a bent track!! September 4, 2015
