9-Pattern Poly Flashlight Nozzle-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Garden nozzle with nice set of features I wanted to try this nozzle because it has a valve that stays open to let the water flow. My old sprayer requires a firm grip to keep the spring-loaded mechanism open and at the end of the day my hand gets very tired. I like the variety of settings on this sprayer. With good water pressure, the different settings on this nozzle allow you to effectively water just about anything in your yard without damaging your plants or contributing to erosion. Anything from a gentle shower to a nice direct stream to power wash something. I use it to rapidly wash out, then refill, the bird bath in our yard. It does an admirable job of that task! When attached to my garden hose, the gasket seal seems good, with little or no leakage, however I have almost lost the gasket when removing the nozzle from the hose. The gasket doesn't seem to stay within the sprayer housing very well, so be wary of that when removing this nozzle from the hose. Some of the settings seem to produce quite a bit of turbulence within the sprayer housing. This can produce a moderate amount of noise and makes the sprayer housing vibrate, which I found uncomfortable to hold after some time. This can be moderated somewhat by cutting back on the water pressure at the hose bib, or by simply closing the valve on the nozzle somewhat. I also found the straight through nature of the sprayer to be a little unwieldy. Especially when dragging 100 feet of garden hose full of water behind me. From a pure "comfort of use" perspective, I think I prefer a pistol grip style sprayer. Overall this sprayer is constructed of good quality materials and works well in my garden. I believe most gardeners would be happy to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than pistol grip This nozzle is fantastic. I put it to use immediately. It is solid & well built with a great variety of 9 useful spray patterns. I got more power from all of the patterns than any of my old pistol grip nozzles AND it does not turn on when you drop it like the old pistol grips, getting you soaked when you don't want to be. The best thing for me is the straight grip. It is easy on the wrist and hand. Your wrist is not bent back but you can keep it straight so it is not tiring or a strain. Super if you tend towards carpal tunnel. Just thumb it on & off. I will never use the pistol grip again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent design, poor quality control This nozzle has a unique design which I found to be quite neat. It had a variety of spray patterns, which was fine. However, typical nozzles requires you to depress the handle and hold it, which can result in hand cramping. This nozzle has a ball valve design, so it stays on without having to press the handle continuously. Unfortunately, the item I got seemed to be defective in that it would not completely shut off. It would seem that the item was not tested for leaks at the factory in China. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend the product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is what it is If you need a basic spray nozzle, with a few different settings, without spending a bunch, this one is for you. I went for awhile without a nozzle at all, so this is an upgrade. The shower and soaker settings will be nice to water my planters this summer. The 'fire hose' style trigger is easy to use and I think makes it a little more fun. I'm a little concerned with the plastic construction, but it is what it is. We'll see how this guy handles being left out in the summer heat and sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best nozzle design! This nozzle is very easy to attach to the hose. The lever used to control the water flow is very convenient. I like that I don't have to squeeze a handle to control the water flow. Just move the lever forward and back. Plus there are lots of flow styles to choose from. It seems to me that the wider spray options go further away than the squeeze style nozzle too. This nozzle is great for watering our fragile blooms as well as dousing our campfire!
