Last one I had like this had cotton stitching and the thread rotted causing the cover to come apart.

The one I put up used some kind of 'poly' thread, not cotton. It is double-stitched, which I prefer. (I'm not a seamstress, my wife told me that.) So far the greenhouse I installed has held up, even in the winds we get, and to several storms. The next thing on the agenda for this item is to spray a generic water-proofing on the seams. Answer:
A decent amount. My 'green house' gets to over 100 degrees on sunny days and 80 or better on 50% cloudy days. It is a white material and probably filters some of the light spectrum but so far I have yet to notice a real difference between plants inside vs. out.

Answer:
The material for the cover is and opaque polyester cover with rip stop for strength. The back vent has screen in it and it is a small hole. This does not have a floor in it so bugs may still get in unless you bury the extra material and also put a tarp down on the floor.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Greenhouse Works ok for a cheap greenhouse $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$--$$! $$!!! December 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad I've had mine set up for about a month now and it's still standing. I personally think a big white tent in my backyard looks bad but it does its job keeping my pond warm and it was cheap so I can't complain! November 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great greenhouse for the money We are using this greenhouse only for the winter months in Central Texas. While we have not had the greenhouse for a whole season yet we are extremely pleased with the quality and ease of putting it together. October 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Inexpensive solution for overwintering frost tender plants I was looking for an economical solution for overwintering frost tender plants in the Phoenix area. This is the answer. Goes up easily. Works well for what I needed. Don't expect the cover to last more that a few years in Phoenix. The sun eats it up, however a new cover is inexpensive and you're good to go another few years. Best plant protection for the least amount of money. I heat with small electric heater and plants are happy all winter. Keeps Ficus, Plumeria, Hibiscus looking good. February 23, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not as expected. Easy set-up but the cover does not permit transfer of of sunligt completly. If you want to grow shade plants this product will work for you. August 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just the right size for my yard Have only had the greenhouse for about a week, but it withstood some very high and dry winds. I am sure it will be good to have for the cold winters. May 21, 2014
