Answer:
Enough snow would cause the top to cave in. I have seen some left up all winter but never saw one with snow on it still up.

Answer:
I put mine up in Upstate NY specifically to keep snow off my cars. We have had a foot of snow on the canopy and it held up fine. Just make sure the tarp is tight and you have extra tie downs on it. We also push the snow off from underneath. It slides off with ease, but don't leave it to build up or it would almost certainly fail.

Answer:
It is not required to take down your King Canopy during the winter months but if there is heavy snowfall we suggest that you monitor the accumulation of snow on the cover and that it is removed daily by knocking the snow off the canopy.

Answer:
Thank you for your question.
We do suggest that these units are taken down when you are expecting a heavy snowfall. However it is not required, but you will need to monitor the snow accumulation on the roof/cover. It is recommended that when snow/ice is accumulating that you go under the canopy and push the cover up to knock off the snow/ice.

Answer:
I had 3 inches of wet snow on mine. I would not recommend counting on this. Mine was also up with tie wraps and not the bungee balls it comes with.

Answer:
hank you for your question. The pipe is 2" diameter powder coated steel. It can withstand some weight, However, we do not have any exact weight specs. It really just depends on the environment the unit is in. We hope this information is helpful for your canopy research.

Answer:
There is no way to weigh the panels. They are 6 Guage 2x4 inch rectangles, and they measure 5ftx15ft. Very heavy. The solid roof carports are strong enough to hold the weight, but I'm not sure how the support posts compare on the soft top model.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Canopy We are using this canopy as a temporary car port for two of our vehicles (a mini van and a sedan, which fit nicely). It went together well with three people. Since this is going to be a long standing "temporary" shelter, we bolted the frame together. I would recommend bolting it together if you plan to use it as we are, due to the frame comes in multiple pieces. It has lasted through multiple summer storms without an issue. We will see how it survives a PA winter soon. I would recommend this canopy, cover is well made and durable and frame fits well together. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Its very solid canopy Im very happy with this king canopy. Its better than other brands. It can be set up with one person( i did it by myself) i struggled a lot cuz the spot where its located. I was careful enough so i wont fall in the pool. If its plane ground its way easier. Two person its faster. July 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Cover We anchored this to the ground and we're able to park two vehicles under it with no issues. We are going to get a second one to cover our boat. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Up in the air on this canopy Over all im happy with it. I think a canopy this big should have a bolt kit to make it stronger specially in winds. The instructions could have been better on which way the canopy went on. Mymain concern is the canopy it has been up only 1 week now and looks frayed in alot of spots. I have other brand smaller canopies that have been up for years and are not frayed at all. I would think for what this cost it would last at least as long as my others but I have my doubts about that. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow Big hit at 4th party 60 plus people uner 1 tent great quality easy assembly and easy take down I would highly recommend this product July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Canopy First and hopefully the last canopy I will buy. This is a great product. Sturdy and well engineered. Easy to assemble, just need a little help lifting to put the legs on. June 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stakes not included Very easy to install (2 hours entirely by myself), decent quality and great value for the $$. One small problem - they don't tell you when you purchase it, but it requires stakes to hold it down in strong winds and the stakes are not included, so order them when you order the canopy! March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Canopy I have been using this canopy for several years. I leave it up from April to October in a campsite. Only took it down for Hurrricane Sandy. I only gave it 4 stars because water will sometimes puddle up at the cross poles. February 1, 2015
