How do you get the handle off with out destroying the finish on the handle? I have tried prying with a cloth covered small screw driver with no luck. Because of the shape vice grips will not hold.

Answer:
The set screw is in the inside elbow of the handle. After the set screw is removed the handle should pull off. Sometimes mineral build up may cause it to more difficult.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lousy product and brand ended up costing us more After 1.5 hours of trying to install the first Kingston Brass faucet, the plumber said that the faucet was defective and that he couldn't install it as it needed a direct connect. As installed, it leaked. Kingston Brass does not offer a guarantee and even though I was able to return the two faucets to the store, I still had to pay the plumbing/installation company $150 additional to return to install the Delta faucets (which carry a lifetime guarantee). Don't bother with this brand of faucets. May 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst faucets out faucets were difficult to install and leaked continuously, even after seats and springs were replaced. faucets kept loosening after use, added to the problem. awkward connections underneath and flawed cartridges were a bane to owning these expensive items. go with delta and save yourself the headaches. May 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful to look at. Installation took a long time. Beautiful to look at. Installation took a long time because the inserts were tight. 1 handle was not sealed properly and when the water was turned on, it sprayed underneath. Had to order another one and plumber had to return to finish install. Cost me more for that reason. February 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice elegant look at a reasonable price Although previously I was not familiar with Kingston Brass as a major faucet provider such as Moen, Price Pfister, American Standard, etc. the quality seems similar. I cannot comment on the ease of installation because I had a plumber install (2) identical faucets. The plumber did however comment that he thought the quality of the product was good. July 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Customer was satisfied with the faucet Did not have problems with the installation and the faucet looks and works good. March 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent quality.luxurious and a highlight of the vanity. The faucets are very luxurious and add elegance to our bathroom vanity. the only flaw was the difficulty in the installation of them. rubber washers in each tap must be securely in their slot, otherwise, when you turn the faucet it squeaks. October 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by beautiful faucet This faucet compliments the new vanity top. The appearance of the chrome and brass is almost elegant. The 8 inch spread makes clean ups so easy. However, the plumber had a problem with his install. October 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful & good quality. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'm ordering a second one for my master bath. July 23, 2013
