What is meant by "Spring Spout"? How is this faucet different from the Kingston Brass Single-handle Pull-down Faucet Model # HGS8878CTL?

Asked by: Pandyloo
The "spring spout" describes the coils around the spout. This design allows for greater flexibility than traditional faucets. Model # HGS8878CTL is a similar spring spout with a different handle and body design.

Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Spring Spout in Satin Nickel is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as much water pressure as the last one I... Not as much water pressure as the last one I bought.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality This faucet looks great, but the overall quality is very poor. The hose is made out of plastic and the neck part of the faucet is lose and I haven't even used it yet. I'm returning it and buying a quality faucet. I went to a store that specializes in faucets and inquired about the same type of faucet (different brand), which was several hundred dollars more. The rep said "If you are to buy a faucet, spend the extra money and buy one that has a lifetime warranty bc the ones in the home improvement stores are made cheap and marked up very high for the quality and will only last a few years before something needs replaced on it".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kingsford spring spout single handle faucet Doing some kitchen updating, so far, this is my single favorite improvement! My husband found it easy to install. I love the versatility of having everything right there and not needing to pull out some long hose. The single handle is very easy to use while you are able to pinpoint the exact temperature needed. I never heard of this company, and took a chance, what a great well thought out product. Would have no qualms about recommending this faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality and very functional. This quality kitchen faucet looks and operates great. Very solid and easy to use. Nice strong spray with the sprayer selection. Much better system than the pull-out type. Attractive modern styling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sleek yet industrial great looking, sleek and modern, yet industrial. only had the faucet for 1-2wks, so i can't speak ease of cleaning the product. my only minor complaint is the handle to turn water on is very easy to manipulate, so the water pressure is always coming out so fast it hits the bottom of the sink and sprays upward. hard to create a gentle water pressure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product for price Faucet looks great and was a breeze to install. Says in the instructions that a basin wrench is needed. I found that to be more challenging than a crescent wrench but could see the need depending on how much room you have.
