12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe in Contour Silver is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 105.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Coffee Maker No complaints so far! I bought this coffee maker a month and a half ago, primarily because it has a stainless steel carafe. I love the fact that with a little preheating with hot water, I can have coffee that stays hot for many hours and never has a burnt taste. (Even on the days that I'm too lazy to preheat the carafe, I can make coffee at 6am and still have pleasant drinking temperature coffee at 11- if I have coffee left!) Added bonuses with this coffee maker are the removable water container, and the use of a basket coffee filter! I like how easy it is to clean all the parts to this coffee maker. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great, but display has problems. Mechanically, I am very pleased with the performance of the coffee maker. The insulated carafe keeps coffee at drinking temperature for 5+ hours. However, the lighted display is very poor. It is dim, and some numeric digits do not display at all. The display leaves you wondering whether the time is correct or whether you set the brew time correctly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coffee maker. At first I didn't like the coffee maker. Now, after using it for about 6 months, I think it's the best coffee maker we ever had. It's a little complex in setting things up but after getting use to the maker it is simple. And the last thing is that it makes a great cup of coffee. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok The coffee maker is fair it has some nice features but I don't think the lid opens far enough for pouring and if you make more than 10 cups it has a tendency to boil over and run down the handle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed I found using this coffee maker very frustrating and cumbersome. The stainless carafe cannot be filled from my refridgerator's filtered water spigot nor can the removeable water tank. This means I have to fill the water tank with a separate pitcher. The lid of the carafe is difficult to remove/attach and when trying to pour coffee, only a trickle streams out. The inner rim of the carafe is about an inch wide and doesn't allow me to pour out the last 1/4 cup of coffee without removing the lid, turning the whole carafe upside down and shaking it. Obviously, this cannot be done over the cup, it has to be done over the sink. I also think the menu is more than it has to be.....keep it simple, KitchenAid! I prefer my $39.99 Black & Decker coffeemaker!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The product looks good. I purchased this thermal coffee maker October 2013. 1. to have hot coffee for longer periods of time; works thus far. 2. not having to leave on hot plate. 3. Looks; matches kitchen theme. However, I had know idea that I would be cleaning up coffee spills/leaks, etc. every other day. It's like the coffee misses the hole in the lid of carafe; losing about 1/4-1/2 cup coffee each time. cannot fill water reservoir above 9-10 cup mark; that's when it seems to leak more. also lose 1/2 cup or so b/c all the coffee does not pour out unless you remove lid and hold upside down; this thermal carafe is heavy. I'm very disappointed to say the least.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Coffee Pot Ever!!! it went out with the gargage this m I have never had a coffee pot perform so poorly. The coffee was great - when it made it in the pot. I have been struggling with this pot for a few months now, thinking I was doing something wrong. It is a coffee pot - not rocket science. I am so tired of cleaning coffee off the counter top. If you do not put the carafe in exactly the right position - with handle all the way to the right, it leaks. Other times it overfill the basket and ours along the outside of the carafe. If you don't pour the first cup over the sink, that spills too. The coffee sits in the lid of the carafe. it is an epic fail on the part of Kitchenaid. I have never been so disappointed in a product.
