Answer:
It has 2 plastic wall guards on the back for proper air flow so that adds 1.5 inches. The box itself is 13".
The box to knobs is 14". The box to main door handle is 14.5". Add 1.5" for the guards on the back and the total width from guards to main door handle is 16"s.

12 in. Countertop Oven in Onyx Black is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 453.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I bought this almost a month ago in order to still be able to fix baked items for my family without having to heat up the entire house during the hot summer months. I initially decided on it because I trust the KitchenAid name, and because it went up to 450 degrees with both a bake and broil function, in addition to toast and it's larger-than-average-countertop-ovens size. It has not failed to impress and amaze me! I have baked muffins, heated chicken, cooked pizzas, and made mini meatloaves in it with no issues. It was an amazing investment that I know will serve my family for years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KitchenAide Countertop Oven KitchenAide counter top oven is great. I do not have to used my oven since having this counter top oven. It bakes, boil, warm and toast. The temperature goes all the way to 450 degrees. Big enough to cook a pizza, bake fish etc. Looks really nice on the counter and does not take up a lot of space. Could not do without it. Ease of use is great....Features are nice....Quality is great....And is really quiet but you will hear the timer if set. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't even last 3 months! We received this as a June wedding gift. We loved that there are two spacious tiers for cooking a decent amount of food at once (for two people). The toasting option took forever, though- we would have to turn it to Dark for it to even toast lightly. Yet, maybe this was a faulty oven from the beginning since it decided to completely stop working this week - 2.5 MONTHS later. So incredibly bummed since we opted to throw out our Black & Decker toaster oven that lasted over 5 years (and was still working when we tossed it) for this beauty that ended up failing quickly. Very disappointed KitchenAid! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Used for toasting and baking Originally got this as a gift and I prefer it to a toaster since it is more versatile. Cooks evenly. I can use it to cook a sides while main meal is in the oven or use it instead of the oven for small items, since it puts out less heat than the oven-good on hot summer days. I cannot use it to bake a 12" pizza like it advertises however-it would not fit. I like this product and bought it a second time, once it broke after the warranty expired- it costs more to repair than to buy a new one. Needs a longer warranty-Seems to conveniently break after warranty expires. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Countertop Oven Our older toaster oven quit on s Sunday morning. Did without toast for breakfast and decided to replace it before another day went by. Researched the Internet and found great recommendations for this model KitchenAid. We have had it for a little ver a week but have already fallen in love with it. It is a great toaster as well as a great oven. We are able to use it for baking of anything that will fit in the oven door, 13" or smaller. Saves us time and expense compared to our larger oven and performs equally well. I recommend this to anyone looking to buy their first countertop oven or, like me, needing to replace an existing oven. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Toaster Oven I bought this toaster oven about a month ago. I simply cannot cook without a toaster oven. I wanted a large one that was simple. I did not care about a lot of options. I have had Cuisinart, Black & Decker and my last was a Breville. Breville gets many rave reviews and it was good BUT no better than this KitchenAid Toaster Oven. This was a much better price too. It has an easy-clean interior surface which the others did not have. It heats up well and does a casserole, whole chicken or a 12 inch pizza. I highly recommend this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used this toaster Oven for my Thanksgiving pies! My regular oven broke and did not want to buy a new one until I remodeled my kitchen. My husband had an accident and broke his back and heel so my kitchen remodel went on hold since July. I purchased this toaster oven and love it. I have baked everything that I would in my regular oven just sometimes smaller portions. It baked my holiday pies perfect! I am looking at KitchenAid for my new appliances when the remodel is completed because of how dependable this little oven has been for the last 6 months! Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little oven for everyday use I bought this because I live in a basement with a kitchenette but no stove or oven. This works just like it says. The only downside is there is no temperature gauge to tell you how hot the oven is. I went out and bought a simple oven thermometer and place on the rack when using. I really love this product and it seems to stand up to the kitchenaid name!! I would recommend this oven to anyone who needs to make individual meals or simply does not feel like using a traditional oven all the time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
