I was not happy that I had to return the first grill after assembly because the igniter did not work. Thus I had to assemble two grills which were non-trivial tasks.

Grill looked great when purchased. Small compact as I was looking for. Quailty of product is poor for the price I paid. I was a true believer in Kitchenaid productsuntil this grill purchase. I have emailed kitchen aid customer service about product we shall see if the make good on their product??

Good cooking grille and size just disappointed in the higher cost of the SS model at $399. The other 2 burner at $299 comes with all stainless burners, grille surface and flame bars. it also comes with a grille cover.
So with that said, for the $100 more you get a stainless top cover and shelves but no grille cover nor SS flame bars. The bars are the ceramic coated steel ones you need to replace each year.
I thought for the extra money, you'd get a cover along with an "all" stainless grille. Since its used at the beach, what I was looking for....

In these times of big-ness, it's really refreshing to find a grill that's just big enough. This 2-burner grill fits easily on our deck, leaving room enough for table, chairs and a couple of plant pots, with room to walk around those who like to lean their chairs back on the two rear legs as well! We had a 'normal' size grill before and found we never used the side burner, and usually only one side of the grill, even with guests. So this Kitchen Aid 2-burner grill is great size-wise and efficiency-wise (less wasted heat/gas). It does not have a side burner, but two fold out shelves for tools and trays while cooking. Assembly was quick and easy! All the hardware was pre-installed, insuring there were enough screws, preventing loss (by children, whoever) plus making assembly that much quicker. It lights first time, every time, as easily as our kitchen range does. It heats up quickly. It can hold 18 burger patties! We cook all our meat outside, summer and winter, so it gets frequent use, almost daily. We are loving it!

I chose this one for a small convenient deck grill. The quality/durability is the problem with this grill. After 1 1/2 years the grates and burners are completely rusted out. My other problem with this grill is that it keeps blowing out if there is the slightest bit of wind. It is so frustrating to go out to check your cooking progress and have to take the food off to reheat the grill because it went out. Also has hot spots so you end up cooking only in a couple of small places. Do yourself a favor and buy better quality.

This grill is much too slow! I used to grill our meat and veggies on the grill after other food items on the stove or oven were nearly finished. Now, however, I've got to start the meat first. As a former grill cook, it's completely thrown off my timing for what is done or undercooked. Can I get refund on this thing? Hardware is fine, but temp is too low. Good for slow-cooking fish unless you forget that it's on there.

This grill is very nice. I wanted a 2 burner quality grill because I had no use for one of those giant 4 or 5 burner grills.
It was somewhat easy to put together, however, it took us longer to assemble than the manufacturer's directions said it would take us.
I am very pleased with this grill.
