Customer Questions & Answers

How many Watts?

How many Watts?
Asked by: TigreNoir
The wattage will not exceed 200 watts. The hand blenders are measured in rpm's because the hand blenders have a DC motor and only use the amount of watts needed to process what is in the bowl.

Customer Reviews

3-Speed Immersion Blender is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 411.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not chop Chopping attachment is a complete failure. Purchased this primarily for the chopping attachment as it is inconvenient to take the full sized food processor out at certain times. Unfortunately the chopping attachment has several flaws. First, upon washing it as per the instructions, it became full of water that we cannot get out of the unit. Who knows what sort of bacteria could be growing inside. Second, the attachment does not spin when attached to the motor. It makes a very loud noise when it encounters the smallest amount of resistance from something it is attempting to chop. Overall a significant disappointment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Water issue Like a lot of review here, water get stuck inside the lid of the chopper and it is not possible to drain. It leaks inside of the food you are trying to chop. DISGUSTING!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chopper fills with water I got this as a gift and I was over the moon. I opened it up and began using it for all of the utilities--smoothies, pesto, you name it, I chopped it. Could not have been happier. But, then the chopper lid started filling with water when washed--and who knows how foul that water is? I would rather not have it leaking into my food, thanks. Really, if I could give this negative stars, I would. Now the whisk and the puree attachment are wonderful! They are a dream when creating whipped cream or when I am making a smoothie. So, three stars for those attachments; no stars for the chopper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, another great Kitchen Aid product My old hand blender died. When I shopped for a new one I found that most are either really cheap with no power or very expensive as they all lots of extras that are not needed. Since I have used Kitchen Aid products for over 34 years I know they produce a quality item. The blender is a lot more powerful than my old one. The hand blender does separate so it can put in the dishwasher; a great convenience. The blades are stainless so they will hold up for years. it is easier to store than a single piece one. This is not as loud as my previous blender. This blender works great as well. This is definitely worth the purchase!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big desapointment I had great expectacions because I'm a big fan of KitchenAid, I used to have a Cuisinart hand blender and thought that I would experience an upgrade by getting a new one from KitchenAid but I really regret it, specifially with the chopper atrachment, it doesn't work as it should, the latch between the chopper attachment and the blade doesn't fit well, all I get is a terrible noise and a poor result. In order to avoid this issue I have to chopp the ingredients separated in 4-5 very small loads which doesn't make sense because the whole point of getting this equipment was to make things easier and less messy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If it's not broke... I had the original KitchenAid Hand Blender and after so many years (more than I can even remember) it finally quit on me. I just replaced it with the latest available model and am upset that the design to the blade attachment changed. The original mechanically locked in place and required one to squeeze the grip to release the clips. This latest model just is a slip and turn but does not lock. So when I went to use it to simply puree squash for my soup it kept detaching. I had to keep one hand at the blade/handle joint to keep it from shifting or slipping off and the other on the power pad. It is the cheapest, dumbest re-design for the type of equipment. KitchenAid, I am so disappointed. I was going to invest in your mixer but am afraid you have taken short cuts with that as well. Another example of American ingenuity going to garbage.
