I don't know how I did without this for so long. I use it every day to make a morning smoothie and the chopper attachment saves me from digging out all the parts to my food processor, haven't used the whip yet. Only negative is the instructions didn't show aligning the notch on attachment to base. I love it so much I bought one for "an old school" friend and we used it to mash sweet potatoes right in the cassarole pan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RachelF Solid Hand Blender
I purchased this hand blender a couple of months ago to replace one (another brand) that broke after years of use. I don't use it a lot, but it's come in very handy to get the lumps out of cake batter. You just stick in the appliance and it whirs away the lumps! The accouterments have come in handy, too. The cup has been useful for shakes (I use the cup and appliance for my protein powder drinks). I hope this lasts for years to come. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GadgetLover Great immersion blender!
I've only had mine for 3 weeks, but find it very useful: it's very powerful and hasn't overheated on anything I've used it for. The contoured edges don't scratch a steel pan (I'd never scrape it down the side of a pan with a coated surface, though). I haven't used the whisk, but expect it to do a good job. The chopper attachment doesn't chop peanuts as evenly as my small food processor, but that's a minor complaint.
I would definitely purchase this product again and recommend it without reservation, unless you need one to do a great job chopping nuts, but that isn't what you are purchasing this for. As an immersion blender, it is great!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gen_lant Easy to handle
I bought this for doing my little stuff in the kitchen and not having 10 differents machines. Food processor is great, crush ice and frozen pieces of fruits easily. Dont have a big capacity tho. Motor is powerfull, machine is easy to handle and to clean. Great performance! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by CamilaL Works great except...
I used to have a Kitchenaid hand blender and a small food processor. Always loved them, worked really great and I purchased them in separate. Before I moved to another country, I sold them and found this new set that combines both in one product. Being Kitchenaid, I completely trusted the brand and selected it even though it costs twice as much the similar other manufacturer. It´s been less than a week that I received it and, although the products works great, there is one HUGE problem: the mini processor lid accumulates water inside and there is absolutely no way to get it out. This is very unsanitary and I am sure soon it will start smelling bad and drip on food. I am willing to return this produdct immediately.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Max's Mom Seriously flawed chopper
I purchased your 3-Speed Hand Blender for its immersion blender function and, very importantly, for the chopper attachment to replace my food processor's basic function. I am deeply disappointed in the chopper. I went to make a Thai marinade and instantly saw a problem: the blade is too high off the bottom of the bowl. To make matters worse, the blade's stem has a spring in it, thus ensuring that if the blade is in danger of actually contacting a small object, it can instead skim right over it! The solid ingredients were small: coriander seed, peppercorns, and a very large clove of garlic in a small amount of oil, fish sauce, and soy sauce. The garlic clove was cut into about three pieces; then everything just lay there while the blade spun. I tipped the bowl on edge, holding the wand firmly in place, and by tipping and rocking it, I succeeded in chopping the garlic although not nearly as small as it should have been. The peppercorns were intact as, of course, were the coriander seeds. Then there is the matter of the chopper's lid. The tipping, etc, meant garlicky oil had sloshed all over the interior surface. The bowl and lid (on its side) went into the dishwasher (top rack, no heated drying). It was when I unloaded them that I discovered that there was water trapped inside the lid. Shaking it and pounding it into my hand yielded less than 1/2 teaspoon of water, and there was still water inside. There still is, some five days later. Last night I tried to chop ~1/2 cup of peanuts. As the manual suggests I pulsed the nuts. I ended up with a lot of peanut dust, middling-sized pieces and almost whole peanuts. (I have before and after photos). AND ... the lid dripped water when inverted and sounds as if there is more water now although it has not been near water again. I'm not sure that the fine performance of the blender outweighs the shortcomings of the chopper-and-lid. I'm not sure I can make cheesecake in a graham cracker dust crust. What will happen to hard cheese?

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Come cook with me! It's a wonderful utensil, the second one I have.
This product is equally good at blending as it is at whipping up egg whites or heavy cream or at grinding spices and nuts. It's containers are very useful and it packs nice and small. It's the second one I have. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I had a Braun stick blender that I liked- dropped it, broke it & I was on the hunt for another & came across this blender. I could not be happier with my purchase! I love the steel blending shaft for hot soups & sauces, the whisk for egg whites & cream... I love this appliance! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
