This handsome KitchenAid 36 in. Built-In Island Gas Grill Head is constructed with premium corrosion-resistant materials for durability and ease of upkeep. Boasting 931 sq. in. of total cooking space, this unit thrusts up to 71,000 BTUs of fire-roasting energy across four main stainless steel burners, one ceramic infrared searing burner and one ceramic rotisserie burner. Perched above the primary burners are angled flame tamers that deflect heat, prevent flare-ups and vaporize drippings into flavor infusions that permeate foods with a distinctive smoky taste. This Even-Heat System distributes consistent and uniform heat across the stainless steel-wrapped cooking grates so there aren't any hot spots. Electronic ignition allows burners to fire up instantly and the built-in thermometer enables precise temperature regulation

Answer:
It seems possible in the manual, but we are having a VERY hard time getting the parts needed to make the conversion. The included kit has only two orifices but the instructions tell you to replace more than two... and I can't quite understand the previous answer from nexgrill posted here. The manual does not seem to match the included kit.... extremely frustrated! What are we missing?

i am looking to replace existing NexGrill built in grill and the opening width of the EP Henry grill station is 38 inches. the existing grill is 37 inches wide plus the stainless steel over hang which supports the grill weight. In the specifications of this grill width is listed as 40 inches. is that including the stainless steel over hang?

Answer:
Hi dave. Great question! 40 inches is the entire width of the grill including the small flanges on each side. The cutout width requirement for the drop in unit is 36.8 inches. Our site www.grillservices.com has the manual containing the exact cut out dimension requirements. If you have any other questions, reach us at 800-913-8999. Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice grill, poor assembly It's a nice grill - lots of power and fairly even heat distribution. I've yet to see how it will hold up. The only downside so far is a fairly small grease trap. I managed to fill it up after just 4 grilling sessions. However, my unit must have been assembled by monkeys. It had loose screws, regular (not stainless) metal screws added where they couldn't get the alignment right, incorrectly assembled (and non-functioning) sear burner, one loose igniter. I was able to fix all these pretty easily but I shouldn't have had to. It's a pretty big and heavy box so I didn't want the hassle of a return. Makes me wonder about their quality control. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Sloppy manufacturing, slow support This is a nice grill. However, the metal bars of the grill cooking surface were poorly welded and 4 of them came off while unpacking. Since unpacking, 2 more are loose at one end. The service representative at my local store was helpful in ordering a replacement but now it is over two weeks later and no replacement parts have arrived. It is frustrating to have a new grill ready to use and to have to wait so long on slow repacement parts. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Outdoor Grill Very solid, good value outside grill. Searing burner great for steaks. Our first one was delivered dented but 2nd was fine. August 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed 2nd Kitchen Aid Grill This grill is made under the Kitchen Aid name but it is not a quality product such as the first Kitchen Aid Grill I purchased. This is a cheep China Made product. Sorry I purchased it. I bought it on line. July 26, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor workmanship Came with broken grates which to get replaced will take at least 1-2 months. Which we are still waiting as they said sometime in July we should get replacement parts. We purchased May 24th. Part of the grill was bent. It's hidden in back but still. Not worth the aggravation for us to disassemble. So far cooks ok. I've only used it 3x, but no problems with grilling food. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LP conversion very difficult Overall an exceptional value and a great grill. Conversion to lp(natural gas) complicated even for technician who I had to call to assist me. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product if it hadn't come damaged twice I'm pleased with the overall quality of the grill. Its not a really high end grill but I didn't have to pay the price of a high end grill either. I am, however, very disappointed in the lack of customer service I received. The first grill that was delivered had obviously been returned with lots of damage. They delivered it anyway! The second grill came and was damaged also. Someone had attempted to repair it and shipped it out to me. I DID NOT PAY FOR A REPAIRED GRILL!!! The person working the return desk was very accommodating with my situation but it seems that Home Depot's answer to solving issues is to throw money at it. I don't want a discount. I want what I paid for. Nothing more but nothing less May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Grill Came damaged twice. Poor quality on some of it. Grill works well once installed Decent price. Get what you pay for I guess June 28, 2016
