Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Kitchen aid coffee maker Coffee tastes bad. No matter how I make the coffee, it tastes bad! January 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brews excellent coffee. My sole requirement for this product was to brew about 4 cups of excellent coffee. It does that, and is convenient to use. April 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Hot Enough for Boston I bought this to try a thermal container for a single serving to eliminate ruining flavor when keeping my morning coffee hot on a hot plate. Even though I preheat the mug with hot water, I found the coffee not hot enough to maintain a hot cup of coffee after adding a lot of cream (Boston) to strong coffee. The On/Off button at the base is not the best location. It has been accidentally activated by other items on the counter. Once I had to reactivate the system by unplugging for a short time and replugging the coffee maker. I would like to see the thermal mug more insulated to maintain the heat. Coffee does not stay warm very long. The top of the mug is not spill proof when closed as the coffee spills out the center fill hole which cannot be sealed. Therefore, I have to be careful when traveling. March 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by works as advertised works as advertised, makes a good cup of coffee, could be a little hotter, and maybe a little easier to put the cup under the maker, not much space, but sufficient. Drips awhile after done if you remove cup too soon May 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As Easy to Use as It Is Lovely to Look At My last KitchenAid Coffee maker lasted for 15 years so I definitely wanted to stick with the KitchenAid brand. And this personal coffee maker is filling the big shoes of the coffee maker that went before it. Shallow as it is to admit it, I'm very interested in a coffeemaker that looks good sitting on the counter -- and this one truly does. And I'm also very interested in a simple-to-use machine -- which this one is. It's worked flawlessly for 6 months of 3-times-daily use. I love it so much that I bought another one to have as a backup in case KitchenAid discontinues this model (please dont). April 10, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great little coffee maker This coffee maker makes excellent coffee and uses way less coffee than our Bunn. Loving it. May 20, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Brewed a great cup of coffee until...... I have been using this coffee maker for 16 months now. It has been a great coffee maker for the most part. Recently I have noticed lately that my coffee started tasting weird. I have been very meticulous about maintaining and cleaning the maker but I have noticed what seems to be mold inside the removable water reservoir. This reservoir is impossible to clean. There is only a small hole to access the inside. Unfortunately I believe I will need to get a different coffee maker. April 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good single cup option I've had this for almost 4 months now. It does a fine job though I've read other reviews stating that the basket swing out gets warped-this hasn't happened to me (yet?) My only complaints are that 1. The bottom drip tray isn't removalbe so I cannot use my Yeti tumbler with it. 2. The coffee ground basket mesh is not quite as fine as I'd hoped. I had to go buy (AND TRIM DOWN each small coffee filter). Yes it is a pain but I'm in love with the Kitchenaid brand! And it just works for me since I refuse to buy the new Keurig that can sense off brand k cups. March 15, 2016
