5-Speed Polycarbonate Jar Blender - Cook for the Cure Susan G. Komen is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This blender is a "third hand" It does what it says it does, handles easily, helps prepares meals quickly and efficiently. I needed one - I got one! I made sure my blender was pink because I like to wear pink. Very pretty design and performance is awesome, a "third hand" in the kitchen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like the various speeds I am disappointed that the blender seems to leak every time I use it. There is a black line around the base of the blender jar and the top of the unit it sits on. I cannot tighten the blades. This was the main reason I replaced my other blender as it was 10 years old and I use this unit every day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from blender I am very pleased with my new blender. It is great for smoothies and whipping up some great blended drinks for the long hot summer in California.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good blender; could be great I am amazed the power this blender has, but... The motor could be balanced much better. On the 3rd-5th speeds it will "dance" across the counter and you must hold it from running away. Also due to this, the pitcher vibrates against the motor housing and is EXTREMELY LOUD. I cut a neoprene washer 4-1/2"ID x 5-1/8"OD to go between the pitcher and motor. This halved the noise level, but imagine how much more quiet it would be if the motor were balanced properly. Otherwise, this is a very good blender. It will blend anything you put in it, and no mater how full the pitcher is. Sometimes I must back off on the speed to keep the blades from cavitating. It is that powerful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power I was a little worried when i first decided to get this one because it has 5 speeds and my old blender had 12. This one is fantastic. We use it numerous times a week with great results every time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fun just turned this on this morning. it has a great sound that i haven't noticed with past blenders which makes it seem powerful and efficient. i like that the jar is plastic which makes it lighter which really helps keep the weight down when there is liquid in the jar. the design is pretty nice but somehow no where near the sexy factor of the bowl mixer kitchenaid makes to go with it - that's my only complaint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good blender I bought this blender to make smoothies with frozen fruit. I have since learned that it requires a lot of extra liquid to be added or the blades won't move. I was expecting it to be strong enough to handle frozen fruit but it needs some help. This might not be the fault of the blender but just the way it is with frozen fruit. Also the rubber lid loses it's shape in the dishwasher.
