I apologize, but there are not any interior images available for the interior of the freezer portion of this KitchenAid Bottom Freezer. The interior will have two basket, one lower and one upper. The baskets are made of a metal wire material coated in plastic. Thank you for viewing this KitchenAid home appliance.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The worst refrigerator Poorly designed interior. Small already and large brackets and poorly placed control unit prevent storage of anything large. Door shelving edges are sharp. When refrigertor turns on, it rattles. All around worst refrigerator I've ever owned. August 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Fridge Bought about 4 weeks ago and love it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Couldn't be happier with this fridge I bought this fridge about a month ago now and I've still not stopped thinking "this was a good buy" whenever I use it. :) I went from a bottom-mount door freezer to this bottom drawer freezer, and I had thought I would miss the door. But it turns out the drawer is MUCH more practical and easier to use. I like that the top baskets in the drawer also slide out. I'm also happy with the stainless steel - for some reason the stainless steel door of the fridge I replaced was not magnetic at all. Which was good and bad... good because it didn't get a bunch of things stuck to it, bad because my kids like to stick things to the fridge. Currently those magnetic poetry word things. I'm also happy with how quiet it is, and how infrequently it runs compared to my last fridge. I'd say it's running about 1/2 as much. Better insulated I guess. The only negatives I can think of are: - it didn't come with an ice cube tray! I guess fridges don't anymore. But more than that, it doesn't have any rack or any place to put an ice cube tray, so I just put them on top of whatever is in the freezer. - the fridge temperature control and lights thing are at the front of the fridge, on the ceiling of the fridge compartment. Because of that, your tallest items that fit on the top shelf have to be put in "around" that. Not a big deal, just took a few days to get used to. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and Quiet Love my new refrigerator, it is nice and quiet. I really like the lower freezer with the extra pull out shelf. It makes finding things and organizing much easier. September 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Refrigerator Bought this refrigerator as a replacement when the one we had stopped working,so far works great September 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Efficient, but Poor Design and Flimsy Construction This refrigerator was sold online only and is now discontinued, and I understand why. Although it is efficient (it uses about 60% of what my previous refrigerator used), it has a bad design, and the vegetable and fruit bins in particular are extremely flimsy, about as sturdy as a plastic container from a dollar store. For the price, this is inexcusable. The guide says this has an 18.7-cu. ft. capacity, but when I transferred the food from my previous (21.0 cu. ft.) refrigerator, I found that the freezer in particular could not handle more than about half what the old freezer had. The refrigerator also has major design problems. While you can take out some of the shelves to create some space (unless all your food is about 2 inches high), the vegetable and fruit bins are less than 6 inches high and effectively no more than 12 inches deep, so a 5-lb. bag of carrots would overwhelm these bins (the vegetable bin also has a receptacle to help preserve the food that you have to attach, further reducing the space). The reason they are so small is that there is a tiny drawer below these bins that takes up nearly 3 inches in height. This is a silly design flaw; who has so much food that is less than 3 inches high? Another flimsy detail: the fruit/vegetable bins have fragile tabs that stick out (to determine humidity level). I broke one off after 4 days, and putting a new one on takes a good deal of effort and disassembly. As others have noted, only the front is stainless steel, the sides are painted gray, and the machine does make some noise periodically as it cools down after the doors are open. In short, make sure you can actually see a refrigerator before you buy it. July 20, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Well Mfg. item I just bought this Refrigerator less than a month ago, so the house is still out on what it does and does not do. From inspection of the Refrigerator, it seems to be well put together, very nice feature's. It's not nosy and does not run a lot. This is the first time to purchase a Kitchenaid Refrigerator, so we're keeping our eye on it. Very easy to install. The price was a bit much, but, it may prove it's worth in the long run. I do have the Kitchenaid counter mixer, and it certainly does a wonderful job, so I assume this Refrigerator will follow suit. December 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good! I love my refrigerator. A much needed change from my top freezer refrigerator. The delivery guys were excellent. Very careful and courteous with my delivery. So far the refrigerator is running smoothly, with no sound at all. Remarkably different from my old refrigerator. Can not wait to see my electric bill. The only thing I find that could be an improvement is the veggie bins. They seem to be on the cheap side. Other than that. I am happy so far. February 25, 2015
