Customer Reviews

Architect Series II 30 in. W 18.7 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in White is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delighted with this new fridge! I absolutely love this refrigerator. When you open the door, everything inside is at eye level. This is a wonderful feature and very convenient for accessing what is in there. No more bending over or even getting down on my knees to reach inside. It makes so much good sense; most people open their refrigerator much more often than opening their freezer. It will also be much easier to keep clean due to the height of the fridge opening. This refrigerator is quiet, as well. I love the simplicity and beauty of it. It's very clean-looking and streamlined. It's just a pleasure to have this in my kitchen I would definitely be proud to show this off, and I would recommend it highly to anyone looking to replace their current fridge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good purchaser Alas I ordered this on line at the store, without seeing it. The measurements were the same as my old refrigerator. What I love about it.. I love having the frig at the top, I find I am less apt to "forget" things that are in the back and on a lower shelf. Less food waste. I like the move-able shelves on the door. It is quieter. I like that it rolls easily for under frig cleaning. I like having a snack draw Having the fridge on the top is going to make it easier to keep this clean, What I would change. The freezer tho the same size as my old one holds much less. I was told this was due to the baskets. I miss the extra freezer space. There is no dedicated ice cube tray area. Tho I opted for a non ice making model, I didn't intend to give up having ice cubes all together.:-) The veggie/ fruit draws could be sturdier The reason I gave it a 4 vs a 5 is that I was disapointed in the freezer. I thought the draws could have been stronger. It is too soon too know how the energy efficiency could reduce my electric bills. I thought the price sans an ice maker and french doors was a little on the high side..( tho this style was exactly what I wanted.) Over all I am happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from simplicity It's hard to find a bottom-freezer fridge without water and ice. This one is excellent. The top fridge is easier for us older folks!, and the bottom freezer easier to use. Controls on the front are nice. Everything seems sturdy. My one complaint is that there isn't as much space for tall items, and I actually had to take out a door shelf. I'd rather not have my milk in the door (warmer, I understand), but there is not room in the fridge proper. Otherwise, we're very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fridge choice I bought my fridge a little over a month ago and have no regrets. I was looking at 2 others makes and did not like the exterior on the one but liked the interior and vice versa with the other make. The Kitchenaid model combined what I liked about both.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my fridge I moved into my new home in the beginning of June. One of the first things I bought was my Fridge. I love it. My veggies stay fresh much longer and nothing wilts. It is convenient to use, is quiet and does exactly what it should. I am a happy camper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Be happy, Buy a Kitchen Aid! Very happy with my purchase. Still getting used to how things are arranged, but will probably get used to it. Freezer drawer doesn't seem to hold as much as I thought, but like the slide out lower tray.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from terrible drawers I have always heard good things about kitchenAid but never owned anything by KitchenAid. Thought this time I would try a new refrigerator. Hopefully it will be economical but the drawers are awful. The are made of flimsy plastic and they do not open or close well at all. I am so disappointed thinking that if the refrigerator would last 20 years like my last one that I will have to struggle with the drawers everytime. I wish you could replace them with some sturdy drawers. the refrigerator I got rid of had great drawers. if they would have fit this one. I would have kept them. sorry for the not so nice review but I am more than a little disappointed. I am 66 years old and handicapped and this may be my last refrigerator and was hoping that I would enjoy it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too Early to Tell if it is the right value Purchased in April 2015. We had issues right away with frost buildup due to ice forming on the rails and therefore not letting the freezer door close all the way. We had to call a third party service repair (doesn't any appliance seller cover their own products?) They replaced the seal around the door. The drawers for the fruits and veggies seem very flimsy, a lot less sturdy than the may tag we had before. We are waiting to see if it continues to run properly.
