SunnyDee,
Please refer to the installation guide on the product page for more detail. The front of the warming drawer would come out some, but the guide will walk you through options for the best fit and finish. Thank you.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unbelievable... - Not in a good way... I am on my 3rd repair for this warming drawer... It was installed in May... It seems fitting to say "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results"... The drawer keeps melting the plastic that is located on the side of the drawer and blowing the fuse. As long as I do all the legwork of calling KitchenAid to ship the parts to the repair company, the repair takes a short 6 weeks (being sarcastic). This has gotten very old, very fast... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warming drawer First warming drawer we have had and don't know how we ever got along without it. Easy to use and works like a third oven for the really big parties. February 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Warming Drawer for less than a day... I bought the warming drawer as part of a complete kitchen remodel. It was installed on a Saturday and I used it on Sunday as a slow cooker, turning it on HI for 3 hours. The power light turned off and I realized the plastic clip on the drawer had melted completely! It would not turn back on. I called for service - having used it once (not even) and am now waiting for several parts to come in so the technician can return to fix it. It has been over a week since the technician was here... I don't know what type of quality assurance is going on, but I should not have been the one to find out this was a defective item. I've only used 2 out of the 4 appliances and 1 is defective. I hope the others work out better than this one. June 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! I love the KitchenAid warming drawer. I think as a fluke, ours quit working after 3 months and needs a new fuse. Other than that, I would recommend it. September 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent! I bought this for our new house, we have never had a warming drawer before, and this is great, we felt with this warming drawer we would not need a second oven, and we were right. May 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Improved design! We owned the previous 30" model for 14 years and really enjoyed the ability to serve a larger group of guests with all receiving a "hot" meal. This latest model moved the control electronics to the side instead of top. Our old model failed due to overheated control electronics. Looking forward to a 14+ year life for this unit and utilizing it as a slow cooker. March 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Been wanting this for years! Upon designing our new kitchen, I was sure to include a warming drawer! Every time I would cook a large meal for a crowd, I thought how handy a warming drawer would be - no more half cooled dishes by the time all the food was ready! But it is also handy for everyday uses like heating leftovers or keeping extra food warm in case anyone wants seconds. Highly recommend. February 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wanted one of these for a long time! Can't wait to use it for the holidays to keep things warm while pulling the meal together! April 10, 2015
