Product Overview

This KitchenAid dual-fuel freestanding double-oven range combines five precise gas burners with two even-heating electric ovens. The cooktop features an oval center burner that provides ideal heat coverage for the included cast-iron griddle grate and when cooking with long, specialty cookware on the center grate. The electric oven features the Even-Heat True Convection System that allows passionate cooks to reach their gourmet potential. How to clean the Stainless Steel Top?

I have this range and do love everything about it BUT cleaning the stainless steel top. I am very discouraged that after just a month of cooking there are several stains I am unable to remove. Kitchenaide recommends Afresh cleaner and it does shine it nicely but it really isn't a cleaner. I have discoloration around the burners on the stainless and small food stains I can't remove. I have tried HOT water, white vinegar and a small amount of baking soda and a magic eraser. Anyone else have this problem and found a great solution so I can rate this a 5?

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 203 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs improvement This range came with our home purchase last year. I like the cooktop, I just wish it was a bit bigger so that you could actually get 4 large pots and pans on without touching each other. I like the burner grates. They are easy to clean. I also like the griddle. The double oven is useful but could use some improvement. The top oven is cool for cooking pizza but it needs to be deeper. I have to shove my x-tra large pizza's up the back a bit to get the door closed. It would be nice if they could just lay flat. The bottom oven works fine but it's hard to use being that it is so low. It is a back breaker at Thanksgiving time with a 25lb turkey! I like the stainless steel and the knobs are nice and heavy and seem very sturdy. It is working out fine for me now, but I probably wouldn't have chosen it if I was in the market for a new range. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 1, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Uneven heat We bought this because we really wanted a dual-oven range in a standard 30-inch space. Overall, it looks nice, but a few things have kept us from really enjoying it. 1) The ovens don't provide even heat. This is especially noticeable in the upper (smaller) oven, which is much hotter toward the rear. 2) We really wish there was an LED or similar indicator that a burner is on. It's tough to see the flame on this range, so if you have a burner on Medium (so the burner dial is vertical), it's easy to forget you left it on. 3) The oven and timer controls could be easier to use. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent choice for versatility in limited space We bought this while searching for a dual fuel range to replace an old range that died three days before Christmas! I've had dual fuel before - it's the perfect option. The double oven was a bonus - as it was the only dual fuel range that was in stock to be installed before our Christmas hosting duties. We use the smaller top oven for preparing daily meals, and use both ovens when preparing larger meals, or when baking cookies. April 15, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Grate scratches the stainless We have had this stove for 3 months and it has scratches every where from removing the grates to clean. If the grate touches the metal just slightly you will see the bad results. I am so disappointed because we try to remove very carefully but one wrong move and another scratch. Wish we could take back. March 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Smaller oven perfect for most items Use the smaller oven most of the time. Kids are on their own now and we only need the larger oven on special occasions. Love accurate heat control and self cleaning features. Gas cook top works well. February 5, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Need a new value I bought this gas range appx 2 years ago. First I could not turn the knob for the top small burner on right front, then the same thing started happening for the left back. Also the lower oven barely comes on ... sometimes maybe" after about 20 minutes. I usually have to turn on the top oven for the bottom to come on in a timely manner. Tech camE out and had to replace something for the bottom over and had to order a value for the the top which means he have to replace to entire top unit. I wish I had not purchased this range. Too much gone wrong. Also sometimes I need a lighter to light burners. November 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS ! FROM DAY ONE PROBLEMS! RIGHT NOW IAM WAITING ON A REPLACEMENT PART,A OVEN IGNITER, THIS WILL BE THE SECOND ONE IN TWO YEARS!ADD THIS TO A LONG LIST OF OTHER PROBLEMS!NOT WORTH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE PAYED FOR IT !!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!one more problem-on the top of the oven door there are vents if you should drip or spill something on the front on of the oven it will leak in between the glass windows on the doors-you CAN NOT GET IN BETWEEN THE TWO GLASS PANES TO CLEAN UP THE YOUR SPILL! VERY POOR DESIGN!! December 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not satisfied I've had this range for almost a year now and not satisfied especially for the amount of money we spent. The range does work wonderfully. As for the oven, not the greatest. It takes forever to preheat and get up to temperature. And it doesn't bake anything evenly! One side of the oven is always hotter than the other. If I knew what I know now, I would have purchased a different range. December 8, 2015
