Architect Series II Top Control Dishwasher in Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Tub, ProScrub Trio Option, 39 dBA is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 210.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst dishwasher ever After less than 2.5 years we are now buying a new dishwasher. I'm so bummed because i wanted to like it, its sleek looking and SILENT.... the problems i have had with it are ridiculous.... over $800 in repairs and warranties and 5 MAJOR repairs in less than 3yrs. major design flaws with this style. I have had multiple repairs due to water damage breaking the control pad 3x now, the vent has been replaced and yet its still broken. machine has had over 5 major parts repaired.... and whirlpool has the worst ever costumer service. and this machine was regularly used only 2x a WEEK absurd!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK I've had this dishwasher since March 28, 2014. On December 14, 2015, the bottom rack slide rollers failed, and had to be replaced, but the replacement rollers did not work properly. It was like a metal to metal sound rubbing when sliding in or out. Plus, they required more pressure to slide than the ones that came with the new unit. On February 17, 2017 the unit wouldn't complete a cycle, and the computer board was replaced. Today, the unit will not complete a cycle again. I purchased the extended Warranty to take it out to 60 months. The repair turn-around is usually 2-3 weeks. What good is a Warranty if the unit is unreliable. Consumer Report gave this unit an A+ and it looks like I made a mistake in trusting Consumer Report.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from KDTE704DSS1, Nice dishwasher, but reliability problems Replaced an older model of the same Kitchenaid dishwasher that we loved and had for almost 10 years. We have had this for barely 2 years and it has stopped working properly. Keeps stopping mid-cycle, checked everything I could think of (heating element, hi-temp sensor, OWI sensor, water temp, etc.). It is going to the scrap heap. Very disappointed, considering how much this cost and got barely two years out of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage First unit wouldn't work. Second one never worked properly. They gave me the run around until the warranty ran out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dishwasher except.... We had this model installed 5 months ago and have had no issues with it. Cleans beautifully and is quiet. My only complaint is the silverware basket. The separators began to fall into the compartments. I considered doing away with the. But since my silverware would then be "nesting" on each piece this didn't seem to solve the problem. My husband finally thought of using plastic tie wraps to secure the separators to the basket. I have attached a photo of this fix. Works great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed We purchased this top-of-the-line dishwasher to replace our 16 year old KitchenAid. We went with KotchenAid again based on past experience and the reputation of KitchenAid. We have had the machine for two years. A couple of months ago, one of the guides for the bottom rack had to be replaced. Now the sanitize light is blinking indicating an error. We replaced our water heater and it is still blinking, so it is not an issue with the water temperature. I'm disappointed that what we thought was a quality machine is having these issues. The one saving grace is I purchased an extended warranty. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It must be broke cause I don't hear anything - though the ge We have a kitchen full of KitchenAid appliances (side by side 48" built-in refrigerator, 36" gas cooktop, stacked convection oven and microwave. We have previously owned other high end kitchen appliance brands, but none of them have worked so efficiently and well. Only an Obsessive Compulsive person would wash our plates and pots more thoroughly than our new Architect II Dishwasher. Quiet? it's too quiet. I have to walk into the kitchen and look at the status message to know if it is washing. Not sure how KitchenAid figured out how to make a dishwasher this quiet. No previous brand has ever performed so well or so quietly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better tan expected We've used this dishwasher for about a month, and it works well. We wanted the Pro Dry feature with the fan, as use plastic cups and containers. Works well. Every thing comes out clean, and almost all the plastics are dry. I'm always suspicious of electronics so close to water, but all of today's higher end dishwashers are like that - we'll see how it holds up. And it's very quiet - a bonus!
