I recently puchased the pasta rollerand have made pasta a couple times and used this roller. It does a great job. I love it. Nothing like fresh pasta. I would, however, recommend buying the cutter attachments at the same as it is cheaper that way. I didn't think I would need them but ended up purchasing them. They work great as well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Much easier than using a hand cranked model, you can use both hands to handle the pasta, and it is higher off the counter with more room underneath. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This roller makes pasta rolling easy as can be. You work up gradually to the desired thickness and the pasta comes out even. Easy to use and easy to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I use this attachment often. After dough got caught and the pin sheared inside-- I was very disappointed to find no replacement parts available.

I'm sorry to say I'm really disappointed because of poor durability and lack of spare parts for the Pasta Roller. After a few uses the conductor pin has made a clean break. The dough I use is usually of medium strength and well malleable, so I don't think the break is due to overexertion. By Kitchen Aid I am expecting a superior product consistency.

5 Star for it's function when it works. 1 star for durability and inability to purchase replacement parts. Loved this roller. Made making homemade ravioli a dream. Used it about 5 times. Went to use it last night and the rollers wouldn't move. Worked perfectly the last time we used it. After inspection the stud that drives the rollers had sheared cleanly off. I expect more from the Kitchenaid Brand, especially for the price of the item. Is there a way to replace just this part?

I brought this dough roller several years ago but only used it three times. The first time I used it there was some smoke coming from the rollers but that stopped. I guess I should have returned it then as now their is small black flakes like a rubber gasket material coming from the rollers into the dough I was rolling. I took it apart and found a small black gasket all chewed up however I can't locate any replacement parts. This item isn't cheap and should have lasted much longer.
