The Klean-Strip 1 qt. Acetone can be used indoors and outdoors. It's designed to help thin and remove polyester, epoxy resins, ink, adhesives, contact cement coatings and fiberglass. It cleans dried latex paint, uncured lacquers and label adhesives. It can also be used as a cleanup solvent and remover for fiberglass projects and resin.

Yes, acetone is an excellent prep cleaner. It cleans all grease and grime and has a really fast evaporation. Just make sure you wear some heavy rubber gloves as it is very cold when applied.

Acetone, Klean Strip, and Formula 747 are just some ways you can remove carpet glue.
This will depend on what type of carpet glue you are using and how long it has set.
Always use eye and skin protection and proper ventilation.

Howdy CB,
Acetone, Ready Strip,Klean Strip, and Formula 747 are just some adhesive removers that can clean carpet glue. This will also depend on the carpet glue, how long it's been setting, and how thick the glue is.
Always be safe and use eye and skin protection as well as proper ventilation.

Hi Alisia,
Acetone is more of a solvent than a stripper, it's not necessarily a paint remover, I would buy a paint remover such as Kleen Strip Paint Remover.
