I used it to clean two Purdy brushes and it didn't work. I tried cleaning each brush three times and it still left it gunky and with stain residue. I won't buy this product again. And YES, I did shake the bottle really well and still it didn't work the way it's supposed to.

Answer:
Check on the paint can to see the recommended clean-up. This doesn't do anything to clean up latex paint, which is water clean-up.

This is just my opinion, but it seems that to make the mineral spirits so that it has no odor and is safer to use they had to take out most of what made it work in the first place. Be sure to shake the KS Green Mineral Spirits up before you use it. As long as it's shaken up first it will dissolve wet oil based paint.

I have no idea, but I'd guess if you wiped it off quickly and did not rub too hard, you could use it to get tar or some other paint (as if someone scraped your fender) off. I'd test a small place first.

I bought this product to clean up caulk smears so I don't know for sure how it would behave in your situation. The caulk was on the outside of an RV and it had no effect on the RV's finish. I'd suggest testing a small inconspicuous spot before using it all over the car.

Answer:
This product won't harm the finish, but it won't remove the overspray, I'm afraid. The overspray will need to be buffed off. There's no chemical that will remove it and be safe for the finish.

Please check with the manufacturer of the equipment for the proper coolant. The Klean Strip Green Odorless Mineral Spirits was not designed for use as a coolant.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't use this junk! I needed to remove the adhesive from the weatherstripping on my motorcycle's trunk. What it did instead was bubble and remove my paint. I don't know how Klean-Strip can pass this junk off as true mineral spirits. Besides the fact that I still have to find something (maybe some real mineral spirits) to remove the adhesive, I now have to pay to get the paint touched up. June 3, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Its white Don't waist your time with this product. It looks like white paint and leaves paint in brushes no matter how much product is used. October 15, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by paint remover. brush cleaner it is very different from what I am used to. it is milky and a little thicker than previous products. you get the feeling it will not wipe cleanly. i thought it was a little on the higher priced side. i will stick with what i have bought in the past September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product I used this product to clean my newly sanded floors and it did what it was supposed to. Benefits: Good Product. I like the bottle design (plastic is better for pouring than the usual tin container it comes in. Cons: Not odorless! This stuff definitely has a smell. My boyfriend smelled it in my hair afterwards. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Cleaning up oil-based paint Had to run paint brushed through the spirits several times to get brushes clean, but this was what the instructions said to do. Use only in well-ventilated places or outdoors. Smells strong. Wash hands carefully right after use. August 17, 2016
