Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not good for varnish / stain. Tried to use this to remove varnish and stain on hand rail. After 2 applications each over an hour apart I don't see any bare wood yet. Will try something stronger. July 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked wonders & Saved me HOURS I had been sanding and removing old paint from my daughter's bunk bed for the last week and was still only half done and many sheets of sandpaper in when my father mentioned this product to me. It has been a HUGE time saver. I was able to lay out almost all of the remaining pieces and spray them at the same time. I left them for about 15 minutes and came back to the easiest paint removal project ever. I am now about two boards away from being completely done and ready to stain. This is the most time saving product. I would definitely buy it again. In fact,I am headed back to the store now to get more to finish the rest. November 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Klean Strip Makes Job Easier This makes job easier for small areas. Read and follow instructions carefully. February 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Paint striper spray Bought this to remove some latex paint from some metal speaker covers. Followed the directions with a very poor result. Not satisfied with the results I tried Jasco paint stripper that was excellent for the job. January 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! This was so much easier for me than the "paint on" paint stripper. The spray is quick and easy and works amazingly. The only down side is that the spray doesn't cover as much as the paint on. I need 2-3 spray bottles to cover the amount 1 "paint on" bottle can cover December 18, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Total dud. Had no problems with the sprayer nozzle like previous reviewers had - it sprayed as a wide mist, like aerosol window cleaner. The manufacturer must have fixed that. Unfortunately, the chemicals inside didn't do squat to remove, flake, or otherwise damage oil-based paint on my concrete foundation. It bubbled up in a few areas and scraping it did nothing from 15 minutes to 60 minutes in. I think the chemicals in the batch I had must have been bad. I hit it with my 1600psi pressure washer the next day (using the turbo paint stripping tip), and it didn't even damage the paint's bond enough to blast away with the pressure washer. I also found the directions lacking for cleanup on the product packaging. It wasn't clear what the appropriate cleanup should be. August 31, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stripper. Read the Instructions When It Clogs This stuff melted old enamel pretty quickly. It dispenses in a narrow stream, so you will have to work to get a lot of coverage. Definitely wear heavy duty gloves. It melted through a disposable nitrile glove in 10 minutes. If you are trying to cover a large area, it will probably stop spraying after a minute or two. Follow the instructions and submerge the can in hot water. I would suggest taking a bucket of hot water to your work area. When it seems to clog up, submerge the whole can and swish around for a few seconds. Should be good to go. April 5, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by A waste of time This product was recommended to me but after two cans I still have lots of paint to remove and a huge mess. I'll be looking for another product. July 18, 2015
