Answer:
I looked up store #471 in Gilbert, AZ and searched for "kerosene" and they have it there. You can purchase it on-line and have it reserved for pickup. They will email you when the item is ready for pickup at the Service counter.

Just curious?
I've recently bought a kerosene heater from Home Depot.

Whats the difference between store bought K-1 kerosene and what's sold at your local gas station? Store bought seems really expensive at $10+ a gallon. Thanks in advance...

I called the manufacturer, and I am told that this product has a 3 year shelf life, if unopened, from the date of manufacture. In my experience, the kerosene bought at the pump is frequently compromised as a result of poor handling. The people at the gas stations where I live seem to be clueless with respect to the history of how the kerosene they are selling has been stored and handled. Over time, kerosene tends to pick-up moisture, which can ruin the wick on your kerosene heater. If handled correctly, this product will reliably give you a good flame without ruining the wick on your heater. Read Less

Answer:
K-1 kerosene suppose to be cleaner burning than gas station kerosene. The truth is I have used them both and I cannot tell the difference. I think the reason store bought cost more because of the packaging and labeling of each.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Using for running my TurboProp engine. You're the only local store to carry this fuel! I will be using this fuel to run my Wren 44i turboprop engine and your store in El Monte is the only one in my area to carry it. Otherwise I would have to drive across Los Angeles county to go buy it. June 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Its good I have used this product for two years now. It is clean and HSS no smell. It is safe and does not burn your wick. April 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great stuff in a pinch on a day like today when it dipped into the 30's at night and woke up to chilly house rather than lighting the boiler I went to my 10300 btu heater. On Easter weekend it was hard to find a gas station open @ $4/gal. So in a pinch I guess it's worth it. March 26, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive for what you get. Although it will burn cleaner than standard Kerosene, it is very expensive for the minimum results you achieve. A good alternative is to buy the scented fuel additive and use regular Kerosene for same results at af fraction of cost. March 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by K1 No Stink This Kerosene is not like my grandfathers kerosene. I had no smell and it seemed to last a long time. The clean burn is and was the most important of this product. This item came in two containers not one like the old days. It was easier to handle and easier to store. February 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Very clean zero smell while burning u only smell kero if you get it on your hands and even then it's very slight. This is the only kero I will burn in my heater February 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Clean burning with very low kerosene smell. Very low smoke and soot February 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No surprises What you see is what you get. Only problem I had was locating it in the actual store itself. February 12, 2016
