Just because I have nothing better to do today….
There has been a lot of outside construction around my home in the past month. With a lot of dust in the air, I am constantly blowing my nose. Afterwards, I would find my eyes starting to water with a burning sensation. The other night, I was nibbling on something while I was reading . I noticed my fingers tasted like lime. I use lime on a lot of things but not that night. I couldn’t figure out what it was. Drove me CRAZY!!! Last night, we had popcorn. I like mine buttery. I forgot napkins, so I grabbed a Kleenex to wipe my fingers and mouth. Afterwards, I licked my lips and once again, I tasted lime. The Sherlock in me had to figure this out. The only thing I could think was causing this was the Kleenex. So…I shoved a tissue in my mouth. After about one long second, there was a burst of lime flavoring on my tongue.
I checked the box of Kleenex. It’s their special anti-virus brand. They advertise that it kills 99.9% of cold and flu viruses. The active ingredient is citric acid. I looked online this morning and there were a few reviews about eyes burning after using them. Don’t you think Kimberly-Clark should give us a little heads up? I bet I tossed two pairs of contacts this month because of the burning, thinking that my eyes were sensitive to my contacts.
So funny…I think Kleenex is out to get me…a few months ago while sitting at my desk, I pulled out a Kleenex. It felt damp. I thought maybe the air conditioning was hitting it and it was just really cold. A few days later, same thing. The Kleenex felt damp. I thru the box away, thinking somehow moisture got into it. After I opened another box, I noticed it was there new product “Cool to the Touch”.
Hey Kimberly-Clark…stop screw’n with my tissue or I’m switching to Puff’s.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by apguyette burns your nose if your nose is raw
I bought these thinking they would be good to help spread germs, not thinking that since my nose was already raw from blowing it so much the active ingredient would burn! I can't recommend these at all.

I absolutely love your product. Why did you stop making the color facial tissue? I loved coordinating each room with the different color tissue. I really miss that

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kleenix ALLERGIC to these tissues! Use with Caution
I opened a box at work from our supply cabinet, I did not buy them for myself. I used one and immediately started to itch around my nose and face, so I used another, and another and symptoms got worse. Typical allergy symptoms persisted - runny nose, scratchy throat and watery, itchy eyes. I don't have that many allergies, so I'm surprised. The product is otherwise fine - soft, thick tissues. I will have to investigate what it is I'm allergic to as I have few allergies and I've worked here for ten years and nothing else has changed today in the office. The anti-viral is a good concept, and tissues are otherwise fine, but I wanted to alert of this instance of allergic reaction...

If it's a cold you have, the anti-viral tissue is a must. It's comfortable to the nose and skin. If you have an allergy and sneeze a great deal, grab an anti-viral tissue for it's strength. It is like a hankie and doesn't fall apart. It's design makes it appear to be a healthy choice. Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissues are the best!

My family loves Kleenex brand tissues. It is the only brand that we will buy. We have 7 boxes scattered around the house at all times. Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Kitchen, Living Room. Always handy.
Soft, absorbent and does not leave a lot of lint. I wish that the manufacturer could improve on the thin plastic dispensing piece where you pull the tissue through. If it gets stretched or torn at all, the pop up feature is lost, and all tissues fall to the bottom. Very annoying. Make it out of cardboard maybe, with a smaller slit?
I don't know if this is a problem with other brands because we only use Kleenex.
