They do what they say: splinter-free wire fishing. I can work magic with these. Would recommend highly.

The fiberglass bent just perfectly, but the METAL end snapped off, have to suck it up and only get a replacement set for the broken ones because the other ones are lost forever. Totally disappointing.

These rods really got the job done! You don't really know how much you need these until you actually need them. Great product!

about time they came up with a better solution for fish sticks splintering and breaking. I used to buy a set every 6 months but after purchasing these I think it might be my last set. sticks are very pliable and I can't see how they could splinter and break like all the rest of my previous sets. the guard is like a smooth nylon sleeve that the rod is housed in and its permanently fixed. If your thinking of upgrading or buying your fist set buy these and you won't regret it.

These sticks are handy for ishing and running wires. It is nice that they glow, but the glow is best in very low light areas. So far every time I have needed them they have worked very well. I like these for most things better than tape, in that you can get a straight shot with these better and they do not collapse like tape, but still are rather flexible. Would be nicer if the glow was stronger or laster longer.

For years, I used the standard wire fish tape, or "snake", for fishing walls, before coming across these. The beauty of these is that they easily go up or down a wall space exactly where you want them to go, whereas a snake will often find it's way into the least accessible place from which to retrieve it, usually buried tight to the back corner. It's great to know that that fish rod's going to be there, right behind my cut-out, when I make it. They also go through insulation much easier than a fish tape with a hook in the end of it.
And, they're made in the USA!
