Product Overview

Protect yourself, electrical wires and equipment with Klein Tools’ non-conductive fiberglass fish tape. This fish tape is made with a non-conductive tape, tip and case for added protection against energized circuits. This new non-conductive fish tape minimizes the potential human risk and equipment damage that can occur if live circuits are present. The non-conductive fish tape and eyelet tip slide easily over existing wires and through multiple bends.

California residents: see   Proposition 65 information

  • Exclusively designed streamlined eyelet tip incorporates a wire trough so wire pulling head is smaller for easier navigation through packed conduit
  • Strong, lightweight fiberglass fish tape and composite tip resists harsh job site elements and is strength rated for up to 500 pulling pounds
  • Raised finger grips help transfer 100 percent of the winding power from your hand and fingers
  • Unique sloped handle optimizes the position of your hand for quick hand-over-hand rewinds and allows a more level payout of tape on the backswing while feeding conduit
  • 13 in. Case diameter means you can reel in 15 % more tape in a single revolution vs. a standard 12 in. case
  • Repair kit available (56025)
  • Tape size: 50 ft. L x 3/16 in. W (15 m x 4.8 mm)
  • Made in the USA

I have about 40 ft of grey 1/2" conduit with six 90 degree bends.
I'm having trouble just getting the Klein 56022 fish tape all the way thru

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-50-ft-Non-Conductive-Fiberglass-Fish-Tape-56022/203789532

argh. I used lubricant.

Is there a limit to the number of 90 degree turns allowed ?

Thanks,
Don

Answer:
There is no set maximum, but the number of bends and the tightness of the bends will restrict the usefulness of the fish tape.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not recommend Handy tool and certainly made fishing wire simple, but this product jammed from the very first usage. In the tight space where you need the product to work seamlessly, I spent unnecessary time trying to simply get the think to rewind. October 4, 2015
