CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Thre perfect screwdriver for every woman! A contractor in my home had one of these Interchangeable Rapi-Driv Screwdrivers and I saw how easy and efficient it was to use and bombarded him with questions as to where to get one. When he told me I could get it at Home Depot, I went right out that day and bought one. I loved the ease of using it so much that I went back and bought one for each of my girl friends as Christmas gifts. It's a tool that every woman who does some of her own handiwork around the house should own. The Home Depot staff members were very helpful and courteous when I made my purchases. The number of units I bought had to be special ordered and they arrived in a very timely manner. December 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Good idea-poorly made Magnetic head falls out. Weak magnet. Cannot purchase a replacement insert. Standard inserts do not fit. Tool is worthless without an insert that fits. October 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Screwdriver It was just what I wanted. Matched the picture. I am not sure what else I am supposed to say. It was packed in a box that would hold 20 screwdrivers. What a waste. April 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool! I was very happy to find this type of screwdriver! My husband was an electrician for many years and had one of these screwdrivers. Over the years and many moves later, it was lost. When I saw it, I knew he had to have it. The interchangeable tips makes this one even better than the first. It looks a little strange, but really takes the strain off of using a screwdriver for light use. Great for taking off switch plates, etc. December 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ideal design Made for easy removable and installation of face plates on electrical outlets, works great!! February 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These screw drivers are the next best thing to a drill I done commercial electric for 20 years and having the best tools is important because the jobs are all about meeting dead lines. I decided to try one of these screw drivers out and I have never regretted one moment. It's great for those little projects that the screws just need to be hand tightened, you can change the tip from a flathead to a Phillips in a fraction of the time a drill takes. After losing the first one I kind of bulked at the cost of replacing it, but after going back to a traditional screw driver it didn't take long for me to suck it up and buy another one. May 28, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Could've been, but... The quality of this screwdriver is above average, as far as screwdrivers - it is what it is. Although the manufacturer did get the center-line offset correct {CL of the handle in relation to the CL of the driven shaft}, a critical consideration for proper use; they failed in biblical proportions on the 1/4" hex socket - that which holds the 'bit'. The 'bit' as supplied is double-ended, 3/16" W blade for slotted screws at one end with a #2 phillips drive at the other; while this is presumably handy, it is actually a major hindrance. The problem is two fold: 1) the bit is held in the socket by friction from a spring-loaded ball - instead of the customary magnet, which makes using any other 'bit' almost not possible. Other common 1/4" hex bits do fit the socket but fall out if the driver is at any position below horizontal. 2) the supplied bit fits a limited number of fasteners. The 3/16" wide blade is too 'thick' for most common small screws, i.e. long threaded common wiring device screws used with outlets / switches. And, #2 phillips is more or less a useless term because there is practically no adherence to any standard. A stated size bit fits some but not many of the same declared size screws. Bits and screws vary so much, what one manufacturer says is phillips is more closely a reed prince or anywhere in between or just simply some fashion of a cross-slotted indention. This would have been a great product if the manufacturer would have given more thought to practical and useful purpose, instead of profit! December 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great one handed screwdriver This is the handiest screwdriver I've seen in a while. Quick one handed operation is a breeze. My only complaint is the bits are held in place by a ball bearing. other bits will not stay in place. Haven't had time to see if they make other bits to use. October 21, 2014
