Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Garbage I am glad this is discontinued, but I bought this because the kit has horrible reviews also. This didn't make it through one hole in OSB before the drill point buggered. January 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looooong Drill bit - a critical tool when needed A drill bit is a drill bit and there's not much more to say about bits, EXCEPT when they come on the end of a 54 inch flexible shaft. I had to drill between two holes in my wall, separated by 5 studs, and pull some Romex back through the drilled holes. This was absolutely the right tool for the job. Design of the bit made this job quite easy. Tapered back end of the bit (head) that made withdrawing the dirll easy. A small hole at the tip of the drill to pull a string, wire, whatever, back through the holes as you pull out the bit. Some real thought went into the design of this tool. You made not use it everyday, buy when you need it, there is no substitute. January 23, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Bit worked great The only problem we had with the bit was that the "recommended" bit holder is actually very necessary. I was expecting a more flexible Auger, but in fact this bit is a steel rod that flexes just enough to drill at a 90 degree angle. You have to have the bit holder or this thing will not work. Especially not if you can't see the hole your hitting, such as drilling behind drywall. Which this thing does masterfully well. I only needed it to drill 4 holes in my subfloor at my house, but The tool is still good to go, and will be used again at other friend's houses. July 10, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Necessary tool Flex bits are an essential part of any remodel wiring kit and I've had nothing less than great results from these bits. July 26, 2009
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bit got stuck in wood Was not able to drill one hole with this bit. The bit got stuck in the wood and did not reverse or go forward. Waste of money. January 10, 2012
