Rated 3 out of 5 by from It worked...kind of I built a new house recently and the electrician placed all of the cables (unlabeled) in the attic. I needed a tool that would identify each cable to each room to be able to hook up an attic antenna. It worked but at the same time it did not. Out of all of the cables, it only had a green light on one of them after switching it up, climbing back down out of the attic and moving the sensor (blue piece). I thought the others were not working and started replacing F connectors. After replacing several, I tried it again and received the same result, orange light, meaning there was a short. I then just started hooking up them all and come to find out, they were all working but the sensor said there was a short. I feel the sensor was not strong enough or perhaps it was too sensitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from check the coax i was able to verify that the long unused coax the previous owner used for DISH TV was still functional, and I would be able to attach an outside antenna to that location.
