Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not worth buying Product jams in casing and becomes useless. It's a throw away product do not buy. February 10, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jammed Jammed after 2 months of use and there are no instructions on how to fix the jam. Waste of money. October 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jams up readily As others have noted, this product jams after just a few uses. For me, during the first use. Absolutely worthless. Home Depot has to be losing money carrying these just to have them returned. December 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Product! It was very easy to use. Had a project to run CAT 5 cable throughout the house. My son (14) has become a huge gamer and wanted a hard wire connection. Our older house has telephone jacks in all the rooms, so I had him run Cat 5 wire in the same location. We were able to complete wiring the entire house in about 4 hours!! The fish tape was perfect cost and size for our small project. We watched the youtube videos to make sure we were using it properly. September 22, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Got the job done Like the title says, it got the job done. I used it to run cat5 cable throughout my home through my finished basement ceiling. My biggest complaint was that it wouldn't 'uncoil' easily, and when I tried to retract it, it kept binding up and bulging out within the casing. Finally, (after throwing it on the ground - and in all honesty, I rarely lose my cool like that) I completely took it apart and re-wound it manually. Since then, it works fairly good! I'd say the other negative is the price. But oh well, what can you do! July 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Should have bought it a long time ago. I thought it would be a lot more expensive. For occasional use this is perfect. September 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Klein Fish Tape Works great for pulling wire and cable through conduit and awkward bends through bulkhead penetrations, etc. Recommend the Klein accessory to this - braided cable "Chinese finger cuff" on a swivel. For power cable bigger than #6; or for two or Cat 5/6 cables, this item saves you a lot of taping My only problem with the fish tape (hence to 4-star versus the typical 5-star rating I'd give most Klein tools I own - it's a pain to wind back onto the reel unless you have a helper pushing it to you, and if he's over-zealous...*cough*... there's a good chance he'll put a kink in the tape. Your mileage may vary.; and over time, as the reel breaks in and gets a few shots of silicone or graphite lube, I expect it will self-correct. March 12, 2015
