This fish tape seems to be easy to use. The design of the tip makes for quick work.
Con. Narrow tip may be a problem in the future because it is smaller than typical 14/2 wire.

Although not as flexible as fiberglass, the reduced cross-section of this steel tape will snake through most conduit runs at a considerable savings over the more expensive fiberglass product.

Jammed after 2 months of use and there are no instructions on how to fix the jam. Waste of money.

As others have noted, this product jams after just a few uses. For me, during the first use. Absolutely worthless. Home Depot has to be losing money carrying these just to have them returned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FailedShopClass Fantastic Product!
It was very easy to use. Had a project to run CAT 5 cable throughout the house. My son (14) has become a huge gamer and wanted a hard wire connection. Our older house has telephone jacks in all the rooms, so I had him run Cat 5 wire in the same location. We were able to complete wiring the entire house in about 4 hours!! The fish tape was perfect cost and size for our small project. We watched the youtube videos to make sure we were using it properly.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by AveJoeHandyMan Got the job done
Like the title says, it got the job done. I used it to run cat5 cable throughout my home through my finished basement ceiling. My biggest complaint was that it wouldn't 'uncoil' easily, and when I tried to retract it, it kept binding up and bulging out within the casing. Finally, (after throwing it on the ground - and in all honesty, I rarely lose my cool like that) I completely took it apart and re-wound it manually. Since then, it works fairly good! I'd say the other negative is the price. But oh well, what can you do!
