Project underground conduit from home to lamp post" 5351 Cadillac. item was damaged and I was over charged $5 for it. I just haven't had time to take it back. Its become a real problem w/ home depot. Chinese manufactured goods aren't ment to last for a pro. This is a manual tool and the mechanism could not come out 100 ft and is rusting while on the shelf. It took forever to get back in the casement as in I had to cover it after hour and go back and attack it again the next day. What a hassle. I later had to barrow one from an eletricain freind to do the work that should have taken about 20 minute took a week..

heavy to use - the tape showed rust within a couple months and the etched measurements became very difficult to find - very strong however

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Craig When 100' tape is too short....
I've used a Greenlee 100' tape for years, but I ended up with 118 foot underground run. The Klein 100' and 125' tapes are in the same case and the only length markings are on the cardboard box. The first time I tried, not all the tape came out of the reel. I was 40 miles away from the nearest HD and 150 miles from nearest electrical supply and frustrated thinking I ended up with a 100' unit in mismarked 125' box. My apprentice finally noticed there was more tape jammed in the reel, so we were able to take the reel apart and get the job done. The pull end on the Greenlee tapes are superior to the Z bend on the Klein tapes that eventually break and take a torch to heat and reform an end. I prefer the old metal Klein and the plastic Greenlee reels that have a large cut out so you can see the tape. If 100' tape isn't long enough, your stuck with this one.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Michael Klein makes the best electrical tools, but they missed the mark on this one!
I tested this product at my local HD before buying it, and neither of the two worked. The wraps of coil got jumbled up in the case, and the wrap that should have been coming out would end up being below another wrap, so the whole thing ended up seizing up. Klein makes the best electrical tools (except for Fluke's multimeters and such,) but this product has a serious flaw and is not worth buying. I gave it 5 stars for value because it would have been a very good deal (at $39.97) had it worked, but it didn't even come close to working.
