Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Awful design Not my first rodeo with a flex auger bit, but I've never used one this small. Some complained of the bit dulling quickly. I did not experience this, as the shaft is so poorly designed, it cams out and spins in the matching extension bit designed to go with it. After one hole that took way too long to drill, the shaft broke and was lost in the wall. I could weld a drill bit to one end of a 3/16" mild steel rod, grind a chamfer on the other, and I could expect it to preform 10x better than this garbage. The guide and pulling grip thing are fine. As long as you do not absolutely need the flexibility offered by the smaller diameter shaft, I'd go with a 1/4" shaft bit, I've had success with both the Klein and Milwaukee. June 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by really grabs wood and pulls through Somewhat expensive but a lifesaver if you need it. Be careful though, the bit will drill into everything which can be dangerous when blind drilling through ceilings! July 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A great help It did a great job, very sharp bit and nice design to pull the wire with. July 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product - All you need to run cables through existing walls. The drill bit was flexible, yet effective when drilling through the 2x4 floor plates. Combined with the included angle guide, running cables through existing finished walls was quick and easy. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not bad I will try to keep this short: The product works. It does what it is advertised to do. My only issue with it is that if you are not careful and don't plan ahead, you can drill a hole that will not allow you to pull a cable through with the mesh tool because of the way the wood bit drills its hole....it will be too tight to pull back through without reversing the bit, which, you can guess, destroys the mesh keeper. bottom line - takes a little bit to get used to working it, but just be careful and plan ahead, and it is still a good tool to have in a tight space at an awkward angle. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent tool!! I purchased this tool for a home project of adding outlets to a room. It worked flawlessly and made the job so much quicker and easier. I'd highly recommend for the novice or the professional electrician. October 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to Klein Tools quality! Could be a great tool. Not up to Klein Tools quality! 1. Clip on wire pulling tool will not go through hole in the end of the drill bit.. 2. Tip of bit dulled after first use through wood floor plate / sub floor and would not drill through a second floor plate / sub floor. 3. Paint came off of drill bit. This could a great tool especially when drilling through floors from a existing or new cut-in outlet box and pulling cables alone. Additionally, found this also to provide a tremendous workout with the springiness of the drill fighting and then adding to the torque of a strong drill motor! Will return for a refund and purchase a Milwaukee flex bit. July 6, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by flexible drill bit The bit locked up when it fully engaged the wood. I tried repeatedly backing off and reengaging the wood but it only worked when I drilled through wood that had a split present already where I was drilling. July 27, 2015
