Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great tool what can I say? Klein makes great tools! This tool does everything intended. it's great for working with Romex. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth the money. Another great tool from klein. Worth every penny. Will save time and energy in residential wiring. I feel confident it will last for years with the feel of quality in it. March 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick wire cutter Cuts or strips 12-2 and 14-2 wire quickly and tip can be used as small pliers. March 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great for this first timer I was completely surprised by how easy and precise this was to use. A quick squeeze and the outer jacket of my romex 14/2 slipped right off easy and clean. Same with the inner wire insulation. No tugging or jerking needed. As clean and professional looking wire strip as possible. I even used it to cut some screws for the electrical box. Just insert them into the appropriate holes and squeeze away. After cutting, the screws treaded right in with no problem. I can't speak for long term use but it worked great first time out. Can't see it ever getting dull just cutting insulation so it should hold up just fine. February 28, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by must have if working with romax Little better design with the curved handles over previous model. January 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by they work ok Stripper work OK but I had to take first ones back because they where hanging up on the other jaws January 13, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great strippers These strippers are a must if you are wiring a house or do remodel work. These will save time versus using a utility knife January 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Klein Quality As a residential electrician, I use these day in and day out. I've tried the various other methods of stripping the outer sheath of Romex, and find using these the easiest and quickest way. Certainly imagine that it would be for the DIY'er also. Nothing worse than nicking the nice new wire that you're just installed. These will give you a clean, consistent strip every time, both to the outer sheath as well as the individual conductors. It's really a quick process with these: cut any excess off, strip the sheath, strip the individual wires and then create the loops necessary to attach the conductors to your switch or receptacle. They also feature holes for cutting both 6-32 and 8-32 machine screws, the most common encountered in residential electrical work. The cushion doubled grips on these are really nice, and between those and the ergonomic curve to the handles, I find them comfortable for even all day use. April 21, 2014
