Customer Questions & Answers

How many in this package?

Are there two trays and four hinges in this package? Or would I be better off getting the tray and hinges separate? It does not specify two, but the picture shows two. What's up?
Asked by: DET53
This product comes with 2 trays and to pair of scissor hinges.

Can these trays be installed side by side on a single 28" sink front panel using one set of hinges?

Asked by: Thope
As long as your opening can accommodate 24-1/2" of space for both trays and the hinges you can accomplish what you are looking for. This kit will come with 2 sets of hinges as it is set up to use with 2 sink front panels, but 1 pair will be sufficient in your application.

I have a 15" x 4.25" opening, will this fit the hdwr and tray?y

Asked by: 9258
Yes each tray and hinge pair will fit a 4.25" high x 15" wide opening. This set comes with 2/ea trays and hinge sets so you would need two 4.25" high x 15" wide openings in order to install both tray and hinge sets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Satisfactory so far I purchased 2 sets of these trays for my recent bathroom renovation. The kits were of good quality and the installation instructions are fairly clear to follow. I did find that there were a couple of screws missing from the packaging so I had to use some other spare hardware I had to finish the project. The hinges seem pretty stiff as well. I am hoping they will loosen up after some use. All in all a good product that fit well and allowed me to create more storage from my existing cabinets which saved me money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great idea not an easy install. The directions that came with this product were not helpful at all. We basically had to figure it out ourselves. Our drawer fronts also have hardware so we had to place all the pieces drill the holes take off the hardware and drill more holes. I like how functional they are but it was more work and time than anticipated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely high quality I'm surprised the quality of the mechanisms is so high for the price. Installation was quite simple - the first one took about 80 minutes and the second about 40 minutes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from dummy drawer converter I really like this but do find the hinges a little tight. I just think you should carry this item in your stores. After showing it to a few people they said they were going to get one and what a great idea. I love the the baskets can be removed for cleaning.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from just the right fit This is a special order b/c they do not carry it in the stores. It takes some fineness to get it installed properly. A few things I would recommend before starting. 1. make sure the cabinets fronts are leveled before you begin installing the hinges 2. use the vertical screw holes for adjustment 3. use a 1/2" length screw instead of the ones provided. The ones that come with it will break if used with too much force.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One helpful solution to limit storage As usual, the installation of the second unit was easier than the first. The product performs as advertised. However, before installation, I would recommend the DIY'er soak the joints in WD40 and let drain then pat down with a paper towel. Installation would have been easier with a template to locate the holes in the back of the panel rather than having to mount the hinges, awkwardly have to mark the hole locations (almost impossible with a sink in place), dismount the hinges in order to mount to the panel before re-mounting to the cabinet. It just seems as though there should be an easier way than the process called for in the instructions.
