Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JRretired Awesome folding bracket!
The bracket was quite easy to install. Followed some of the other suggestions I.e., walls not being totally level and (first) installing top screws in wall, folding up and installing top screws in shelf material. Also hot glued small wood block to by-pass 70 & 80 degree stops. Works awesome as a fold down bench in my space limited garage!

The only reason this didn't get the extra star is the price. A little on the expensive side. As others have said, careful installation and a little fine tuning is necessary but not difficult. I used these for a fold down table in the garage. Very sturdy. Overall I'm pleased. Just follow the directions on the sticker. I am an avove average do it yourselfer but even a novice will be fine with some patience.

Built a work bench and used these to fold it down when not in use. Very sturdy, couldn't be happier.

Very good product. I needed something like that to add side table to my AV cart for presentations.
It looks good and works well. Just one thing: it comes only in white color. I tried to pain it, but ...
If it was in black I'd give six stars :)

Good product - you might need an extension drill bit to install properly due to design.

Brackets work great. Mounted a 2x4x3/4 in plywood worktop and it not only looks great but also will support me (210#) with no problem. I do advise mounting into studs or properly into a solid wall.

These shelf brackets are exactly what I was looking for. Very strong, easy to mount (use level and measure, with stud finder). Made a modification to have both brackets fold at same time by hooking them together so you can fold shelf with one hand. Works like a charm.
Price is a little on the high side considering you have to purchase two at a time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rdavidd Heavy Duty, High Quality - how to fix unwanted angle options
This is truly a strong heavy duty bracket - well made and assembled. Yes, since its not made "sloppy" with all kinds of wiggle between parts, it does mean you need to take care when mounting it, but when you're done you'll have a sturdy firm, not wiggly, fold down shelf. The only thing I didn't like was the extra detents for 70 and 80 degrees. Having them means that when you fold your shelf down you have to continue holding the release until you get past the 70 and 80 degree self angle detents. It's much nicer to be able to give the shelf a slight up lift, press the release (and then let go of it) and be able to simply lower the shelf all the way in one smooth motion. To make this possible I cut a small block of wood: 3/8 x 7/8 x 1 7/8. I temporarily removed the small release spring, put a small amount of heavy duty hot glue along the 7/8 edge and put the block in the guide channel exactly at the 90 degree detent. NOTE: do not make the block longer than 1 7/8 because that would create a "step" in the channel and thus during the shelf fold down it would mean that you would have to press the release for a second time.
