Customer Questions & Answers

What does the width of the doors need to be?

Asked by: nitsua
I guess I answered the question wrong, are we talking about cabinet door widths? I would have to say that there isn't a minimum door with for a lazy susan. I have a 12" wide x 12" deep cabinet in my kitchen with a two shelf lazy susan in it. We use the cabinet to hold spice bottles that are small.

can 2 of these kits be stacked to install 4 shelves in a pantry closet? Also, would it work with round rather than kidney shaped shelves?

The pantry has 4 shelves, 10" deep that meet in a corner .The top shelf is 70" from the floor. I would place a wood base to sit the pole on and fashion a bracket at the top shelf to support the top of the double pole. I can adjust the height of the wood base to accommodate the length of the double poles.vs where the bracket attaches.
Asked by: Harry
At half the distant to the floor, you would have a fixed shelf for the upper rod to attach too, than the bottom pole would attach to the bottom of the shelf. You can not stack two poles on top of each other! There maybe some manufacture that makes a long single pole, But I've NEVER seen one and don't believe they exist. There's a tremendous load on the lazy susan pole and a single pole wouldn't be able to carry all that side load on a long pole.

the hight for the pole

I have a lazy susan were the pole is 25 inches long. What is the minimum height the pole goes.
Asked by: patrick
31.5 in. is the minimum height and the maximum height is about 36 in. in pole length. If your a handy guy, you can cut the bottom off the pole and make it 25", take a hack saw and cut a notch at the bottom, like I did. The pole has a notch at both ends to fit the top and bottom base plates, the pole has to stay stationary and not turn, the notches keep the pole from turning.

The maximum weight is dependent on which unit you are using due to the size of the shelf.

32 in. H x 8 in. W x 16 in. D Hardware Pack for Kidney Shaped Wood Lazy Susan Cabinet Organizer is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and inexpensive fix to a nagging problem The original hardware failed with rendered the entire cabinet useless. Purchased this hardware on line at the advice of a Home Depot employee as it is not available in stores. Did not know how it would work with our existing shelves but with an easy modification it worked out just fine. Very simple and easy to follow instructions. A great solution to what could have been a difficult project!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Shelf Lazy Susan Hardware I built a new workbench and wanted to have two shelves swing out from underneath my workbench to make it easier to reach items on the shelf, so I wouldn't have to get on my hands and knees to reach for items. I was hoping Home Depot would be selling just the hardware online and they did. I made the two shelves out of top quality plywood also from Home Depot, for under $20.00 I bought this kit with all the hardware included to complete my lazy susan shelves. I installed everything and now I have two convenient swing out shelves under my new workbench, really handy!
