When I first bought this fridge, I thought it was really great. It was the perfect size for my office to store some sodas, milk, etc. After less than 5 months, it has already died.
Koolatron is extremely suspect and their customer service/availability is non-existent. I went to the manufacturer's website on the manual that came with the fridge (www.koolatrononline.com) but that website doesn't even exist. I google'd the manufacturer and found their actual website which has a different name. When I tried to enter warranty information in, the website just gives me an error which means you cannot register your warranty. I tried phoning them and it just goes in a continual loop of saying "All of our operators are busy - please stay on the line" and then music. I stayed on hold for over 30 minutes and no one ever picked up.
After looking at their warranty in further detail, I saw that it is for 90 days only!!! What kind of a company gives a very limited and restricted 90-day warranty?? It just means they do not believe in their own products, and neither should you.
This was the biggest waste of $45 I have ever had - do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Grams1 was a good purchase
needed something small just for a few items in the basement. Works great and serves the purpose good. Was a little disappointed in the inside size but it does serve to hold a few SMALL items.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lucas Poor quality, worse warranty coverage
Bought this fridge in August of 2015. It is a relatively noisy fridge but after a few days you get used to the noise and it won't bother you. However, 8 months later (April 2016) it started making a louder noise, which is hard to get used to if in proximity to the fridge (I have it in my office). I checked the warranty and it only covers 90 days. This is a very poor quality product and, with such a bad warranty coverage, I would not recommend buying it and regret buying it myself (even if it cost me only $26 due to a promotion).

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TechFriendly Great novelty, not too effecient
Bought this on a great Black Friday sale mostly for the novelty factor. My Grandmother had a Coca Cola machine when we were growing up.
First thing I noticed after plugging it in is that the cooling fan does make a lot of noise for the size of the unit. And the fan runs ALL the time. So I decided to plug it into my wattmeter. It draws 46 watts all day long and 7 days a week. At 10 cents/kwh I figure it will cost in one year about $40 to operate.
With the shelf pulled out it will hold up to 4 small water bottles vertically.
I would recommend only if you have an area to keep it where the noise won't be a problem.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jeani Handy But Limited
I really like this. I got 3 of them. I have not experienced noise on any of them like some other ratings have stated. They are very quiet. I have not tried the heating yet. I find it handy to keep drinks at my desk cool - not COLD - but acceptably cool. Given the size and relatively small price, it cannot be expected to perform as a full size refrigerator, but it does keep drinks cool. I would not recommend it to keep a sandwich fresh for a month, but it might keep one for a few hours. I HAVE found that it behaves best if the drinks are already cold when put in it rather than trying to get it to cool them down from a room temperature state. It might cool them from scratch, but it would take quite a long time. As stated, it is handy but limited, very handy to keep cool drinks close by, but limited to cool, not cold.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JimFromTexas Works great
Bought this for a nursing home resident. It sits on his nite stand. Works great. Quite. Holds six canned drinks. Keeps them near freezing temp. Cost was $24.97 and we we planned to buy 20 more for other residents but the price suddenly doubled and were no longer available at our local Home Depot
