Product Overview

Protect your work and bring air bubbles out of applications with this pair of Gunite Spiked Shoes. Thirteen 1-1/2 in. steel spikes (overall length) are precisely positioned around the hard plastic base for balance when walking on epoxy and gunite materials. The back of each shoe has a stop to prevent work boots from moving around the shoe. Each shoe is equipped with two adjustable nylon straps that fit around the work boot. Plastic clasps secure straps to minimize loosening that occurs with hook and loop closures. The overall length of shoe is 12 in. Use with work boots for safety. One size fits most.

  • Steel spikes release air bubbles from epoxy and gunite overlays, while protecting these materials from footprints
  • Strong 1-1/2 in. steel spikes positioned to distribute weight across shoe
  • Back stop of shoe prevents work boots from moving around on the shoe
  • Plastic clasps on adjustable nylon straps provide a comfortable fit to secure the spiked shoe to work boot
  • Sold as a pair

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Aerating the yard I have a small yard behind a townhouse, about 30X30 feet. I read the reviews and made sure to tighten the spikes with some plyers prior to using the shoes. There were a couple of spikes that needed tightening. The shoes work great, worked perfectly for the application. October 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kept Me Out of the Mastic I am replacing vinyl tile on my kitchen floor with ceramic tile and am using thin-set mortar so I used Bean-e-doo soybean mastic remover to get rid of the mastic and a YouTube video shows a man wearing these spiked shoes so I bot them for my project and they work. Stepped on an extension cord and blew a fuse. So, be careful! And make sure you tighten all the spikes. October 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WORTHLESS Product! Purchased these for use while painting my garage floor. The nuts holding on the spikes kept coming loose September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Purchase It is doing the work expected, worth the price. Good Budgetary purchase. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked great! These shoes worked as intended... They cut down the amount of paint that was track around the area. They were easily slipped on and off. No hassle September 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Work Great!! These work great for walking on my wifes back! She cant get a enough! I might buy another pair to put on my hands! September 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good enough I used these for applying garage floor epoxy. They fit my size 14 shoe easily and clip on with ease. My issue with them is that the spikes come loose extremely easily. Actually, the spikes will largely stay in place, but the hex nut that secure them become unseated very quickly, and will completely un-thread and drop off, in my case, into the epoxy underfoot. I ended up having to pick the nuts out of the epoxy before it set. I was able to finish the job, then screw them back on afterward. All in all, not a big deal, but a distraction for sure. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good, but read the reviews! For the price these are pretty good spikes, They are taller than they need to be, but they work. You first have to check them when you get them and use a wrench to tighten all the nuts on the bottom of the spikes. Some were not even finger tight, but once I used a wrench they did not come off the rest of the job. Used on a garage floor application using100% Solid Cycloaliphatic Epoxy. I would not have been able to do a good a job without them. February 10, 2015
