I have used the Kreg pocket screw system for years, but the special drill bit had become dull, making it difficult to use. This new drill bit is amazing. Very quick and effective. Now I will use pocket screws more often!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Robert Great customer service
I've had my Kreg Jig for less than a year, and the tip of my bit also broke off. I sent Kreg and email and they are sending me a replacement bit free of charge. They didn't even ask a question, they just took care of it. This is the kind of service that makes any purchase worth it. I'm going to buy a spare just in case it breaks again in the middle of a project. At $15 and knowing that I'll get great service if anything goes wrong, it's totally worth it! Thanks Kreg!

First hole in a 2x4 and the bit broke. Enough said.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reaper Quality Control at Kreg is down...
This was a horrible piece of equipment. Kreg has seemingly valued innovation above and beyond quality, as the old bits used to last forever - long after the blades were dull. This thing broke the tip off after 11 holes. Should have listened when I read the reviews. I'll be buying one of the old style, hopefully I will have better luck there.

Drilled just fine in soft woods (pine) but tip snapped on second hole in some maple.

This is a very good tool. It's hex shank works perfectly with my Bosche drill driver.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doityourselve Cheap drill bit
I like the product. Looks great when I'm done. BUT the drill bit tip snapped after 10 holes. And a expensive replacement bit. Not a product I will purchase again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by rms5846 Hex is too big
I love my Kreg jig, however swapping between the drill bit and the square head bit takes time. I was looking to shorten the swap time with this bit. The hex end did not fit into any of my hex drills or adapters. I had to use it in a standard chuck drill, just like the standard Kreg bit. It was sharp and did the trick, but i was looking to be able to swap between the drill bit and the square head driver without using the chuck.
Also, it does not include a depth collar, and I had to use my old one.
