Krud Kutter 5 gal. Concrete Clean and Etch is a concentrated, water-based formula that cleans and prepares concrete, masonry and brick for coating, staining or sealing. Safer and easier to use than muriatic acid. Zero-VOC formula minimizes bothersome odors.

  • Ideal for use prior to coating exterior/interior concrete and masonry surfaces including concrete floors, walls, basements, driveways, swimming pools and patios
  • Covers up to 4,000 sq. ft. : 5 gallon pail of concentrate mixed with water makes 20 gal. of product
  • Creates a porous surface that allows coatings to stick to concrete
  • Water-based, biodegradable formula can also be used to remove efflorescence (alkali salts) with no harmful fumes or toxic rinse-off
  • Environmentally friendly for use and disposal
  • Neutralizes new concrete and mortar joints on block, masonry and brick
  • Contains no VOC's and is safe for use near grass and gardens
  • Creates an even profile and uniform appearance preferred for clear coating applications and sealers

Happy to help. Krud Kutter Concrete Clean and Etch will cover approximately 800-1,200 square feet per gallon. That being said, a 5-gallon jug will cover about 4000-6000 square feet.
